Well, I give you credit for trying. His book and remarks are aimed at his fellow Jews, so I don’t put too much stock in what you thought about it. I do think the show made a mistake in opening with questions about Trump. That was sure to drive away thin-skinned MAGA’s like you before they got to what his book has to say. I don’t remember if your political lord and savior’s name came up again after the opening. I was hoping to hear what our Jewish brethren thought about his remarks.

He said your political lord and savior thinks Palestinians are subhuman, which must have felt like fingernails on a chalkboard to your delicate ears. That’s why I think the program made a mistake by opening with that. The discussion was not about that, but you wouldn’t know that, you were too busy scurrying for your safe space to cuddle with your anxiety teddy bear.

*He* didn’t open with that. Amy Goldman is the one who asked him about Trump’s Gaza proposal. Immediately following his response the conversation turned to the arguments in his book he makes toward his fellow Jews.
