lol funny enough, he is in the system but he’s just there training. They have to be in the system to get into the facility.OHno, you can't be serious!?
Is there anything cheaper than dollar store? I think even that might be two high for these two.appreciate nobody mentioning WHY he’s a “former” commit to Iowa (and OSU). They make it sound like he was taking a sabbatical of his own volition. Just like his older brother. Million dollar talent with dollar store smarts/character.
Waffle House dumpster? Is there anything cheaper than dollar store? I think even that might be two high for these two.
That’s a new one to me as well. Was that at Bergen Catholic or whatever high school up north they got booted from after a year?I’ll be honest… I had missed the story about him pulling a knife on Chittum.
If it makes you feel any better this is my first time hearing of that too.I’ll be honest… I had missed the story about him pulling a knife on Chittum.
That’s what I heardSo with the knife story (allegedly) to go with the other *alleged* things I’ve heard he did as well as a friend of a friend’s firsthand experience with the family when they lived in Stillwater, Anthony is clearly the most unstable of the 3 brothers right?
The thing that excites me about Cael is that he will be a sponge against anybody. He seems a lot more “how can I beat you” than “I just wrestle my match”Drake Ayala beats Lucas Byrd. Drake is a contender for 133, no doubt. Can Cael catch any of these guys?
Let’s be honest, they all deserved to lose.PSU had a very similar dual meet as you guys did the other day. Guys winded and tired. It was hell week. Davis and SVN deserved to lose, and hopefully learn from the losses, but overall the team was not crisp.
^^^ this ^^^Let’s be honest, they all deserved to lose.
better to lose in January than in March.Let’s be honest, they all deserved to lose.
If Cael really had confidence in his wrestlers he'd voluntarily take the #16 seed at NCAA in every weight.better to lose in January than in March.
What do you have against #1 seeds? If Cael really had confidence in his wrestlers he'd voluntarily take the #16 seed at NCAA in every weight.
I think they should be saved for the poor and downtrodden. What do you have against #1 seeds?
OSU is neitherI think they should be saved for the poor and downtrodden.
To be fair none of this has to do with what’s best for wrestling. Cael (like so many generational talents) is a sociopath. He is incapable of caring about anything outside of his interests. That level of clinical selfishness is what has separated him from everyone else. That entire clip dripped with condescension and was just an opportunity to discredit and delegitimize his traitorous former pupil. People can assume DT will run him down all they want but you don’t have to look any further than this clip to see that Cael ain’t slipping. He doesn’t let anything slide and he won’t let anyone get a foothold. DT better be more than ready when he finally decides to square up because Cael won’t miss.I think he answered the question and to your point. It doesn't grow the sport. It's a gimmick. If others think that is the best direction, then go for it. Honestly, if you want to pick on a bad guy in all this, then pick on the NCAA. They have this crazy and arbitrary limit to how many competition dates a team can have. Why?
Baloney - a meaningful dual tournament would be kick ass and everyone would love it. It would be more fun to watch than everything but the ncaa finals. Too many teams in conference to do it right but I think it’d be cool to have the dual season = conf champ then tp 4 champs go at it. The answer is to have a dual tournament and crown the "team champion" and keep the current tournament to determine "individual champions". I think that is the only way to get all teams to participate. It also values the team rather than a few hammers that get bonus points throughout the tournament. The finals suck compared to the blood round.
But to the point, yes, it would go over very well! Nobody is very sure on how to accomplish it to the best option, but it’s sure fun and part of most other levels of Wrestling.
HS Dual state, D2 National duals, etc. are pretty common and super exciting.
