My two dear friends welcomed their baby boy this last Monday (June 29) at 24 weeks. He was delivered by emergency C-section after her placenta ruptured (?) causing her water to break almost 3 months early. He is in the NICU and fighting a good fight, but the reality is that he has an uphill battle to come.
Daddy is holding it together for the most part, but mommy is an absolute wreak right now. The little guy was found to have bleeding on his brain this evening and the doctor was very blunt and said that the odds are highly stacked against him.
Needless to say, she is out of work now which really put a damper on their finances coming 3 months premature. They have a GoFundMe setup, but prayers are just as appreciated.
