I was watching Cody Stovall’s “Locked on Oklahoma State” podcast/video series he does on YouTube and he talked about something I thought was kind of interesting. Basically, he said after the misery that was the 2024 season, he’s talked to some current players who are legit excited about a clean slate to start next season. He said there was some apprehension around the “cuts” that were required for roster number management, but that also led to excitement/rejuvenation for guys who made the cut. He said he thinks that’s why we haven’t seen more of a portal exodus to this point: many of the players he talks to are excited about the new staff and new start. Spring football should be interesting.
