Oklahoma State exceeded expectations on a points, total All-Americans, and Champions basis.
Other than that, not much.
All of the top 5 teams exceeded their points expectations. Nebraska had one of the best tournaments ever relative to their seeds, but Oklahoma State was a very strong second.
Based on seeds, Oklahoma State was expected to produce 4.7 All-Americans and only had a 20% chance of producing the 6 they had.
And the two titlists was well above the expectations of 0.5. There was only a 6% chance of two happening based on the seeds. And yet, here we are.
All in all, a huge tournament for Oklahoma State.
