With all due respect I would argue that EO’s are an open sign of dictatorship. And DJT has embarked on a record setting pace of issuing them. Don’t misunderstand, like most of you I agree with the stated intent and purpose of what he’s trying to accomplish. But how can anyone not look at EO’s as anything other than being dictatorial? It seems to me we Americans have passively watched over the years as our presidents have utilized their EO dictatorial power with greater frequency. The Democrat segment of the population saw nothing wrong with EO’s when their president issued them, and now it appears our MAGA constituents are happy to turn things over to their guy. For those of us who prefer our government to be what our Founders envisioned a dictatorial EO from either side is contrary to what they created.
