I'll admit this does give me some pause but after what I saw Democrats do for the last 8 years, this pales in comparison. Let see what is or isn't uncovered once Trump's nominees are confirmed and have time to look through the information.

From what we are seeing revealed with USAID it's obvious the inspector generals were not doing their job or they were complicit, they should be fired. We are not yet a month into Trump's term and his administration has already revealed billions of dollars in corruption. It's not just Democrats that have been outed, it's Republicans as well. You might should inform yourself on this and what else Musk and his team of super geeks is uncovering by the hour.

With all due respect I would argue that EO’s are an open sign of dictatorship. And DJT has embarked on a record setting pace of issuing them. Don’t misunderstand, like most of you I agree with the stated intent and purpose of what he’s trying to accomplish. But how can anyone not look at EO’s as anything other than being dictatorial? It seems to me we Americans have passively watched over the years as our presidents have utilized their EO dictatorial power with greater frequency. The Democrat segment of the population saw nothing wrong with EO’s when their president issued them, and now it appears our MAGA constituents are happy to turn things over to their guy. For those of us who prefer our government to be what our Founders envisioned a dictatorial EO from either side is contrary to what they created.

Most Executive Orders are simply an action by the president. I teach a lot about Executive Orders in my U.S. History class.
During World War II, FDR made two historic EOs (one bad, one good).
* Executive Order 8802 made it illegal to discriminate against minorities in factories making war materials
* Executive Order 9066 said that people considered a threat to U.S. (mostly Japanese) could be held in internment camps.
In 1947, Harry S Truman issued Executive Oder 9981, which desegregated the military.
* Eisenhower issued an EO in 1957 to send troops to Little Rock to integrate Little Rock Central HS against the desire of Arkansas governor Orval Faubus.
* Kennedy issued an EO to help integrate the University of Alabama (the scene is in the movie Forrest Gump), against the desire of Alabama governor George Wallace.
* Kennedy also issued an EO to send federal marshals to Ole Miss to protect James Meredith when he enrolled at Ole Miss.
* Kennedy also issued an EO to protect the Freedom Riders to Birmingham, Aa., to protect them from attacks by the KKK.
So most Executive Orders are just actions by the president that, as mentioned, can be overturned by the next president.
Biden put a stop to all of those investigations. My daughter was working on a contract with the IRS investigating all the fraud. It was mind blowing how much money was stolen, how many were caught red handed and Biden stop all the investigations and refused to prosecute.
