Yeah, it’s fun!Agreed. I'm really liking the way him and Troy are improving, exciting times fellas!
Btw, he skidded a 2x AA…
Sprat and TJ are two of my favorites! I’m even sore after they Wrestle.

Yeah Latona is long and tough.Yeah, it’s fun!

This board hated me when I said he was unequivocally the best wrestler on the team. I watched him all through high school and you’re finally seeing the real Hamiti. He definitely has the tools to win it all. Haines is a tougher match for him because of positioning. KOT should think twice about scrambling with Hamiti.Hamiti is in that tier with KOT and Levi
They really did not wrestle backups. TJ Stewart who started last year is 0-5 so can hardly say the wrestler they started was the backup. Catka is a better than average heavy weight and was the starter last year. Mullen has been wrestling but I believe the VT coaches thought he might be too small for Hendrickson. We just dominated a very good team. How many backups did Va Tech wrestle tonight?
I'll admit that I didn't know what DH would do this year but now I'm believing your hype. That was one of the most surgical destructions of a good wrestler by an OSU wrestler that I've seen in many years. DH was so calm, cool, and collected in scoring takedowns while turning his opponent's shots into TDs for DH.This board hated me when I said he was unequivocally the best wrestler on the team. Ankle picked the poor soul to death. Very slick.I'll admit that I didn't know what DH would do this year but now I'm believing your hype. That will be a memory for me for many years.
Tonight, as tom v 31 indicated earlier in this thread " It's clobberin time!Ankle picked the poor soul to death. Very slick.
WelpHipolito Will be a tough out for fish stylistically.
Agreed. Spratley, Hamiti, Plott, & Hendrickson are all finalist contenders. The Taylor effect is 100% real and in effect! Your boys looked great tonight!
Hamiti over O'Toole? With that performance tonight it's not just Haines and O'Toole.
Both Mullen and Catka came out for intros and both looked small vs Wyatt. They really did not wrestle backups. TJ Stewart who started last year is 0-5 so can hardly say the wrestler they started was the backup. Catka is a better than average heavy weight and was the starter last year. Every time I see him wrestle I'm thinking Mike Sheets, not his technique but his demeanor. Calm, cool, collected is exactly how I'd describe him. He looks like a champ to me. Now is reaction after the match was just about as far from Sheets as possible but I loved it.DH was so calm, cool, and collected in scoring takedowns while turning his opponent's shots into TDs for DH.
My seats are in second row of the SE corner which is directly opposite of our coaches corner so I hardly have to look up to see how they are reacting to each match and there were three things that I noticed last night. The Taylor effect is 100% real and in effect! Your boys looked great tonight!

Can he coach the football team also?Great match, fun to watch. Taylor has this team ready to fight, competitive, and they are exciting to watch.
That ankle pick reminded me of Pendleton.Ankle picked the poor soul to death. Very slick.
Yeah I mentioned spratley on this board or the PSU board, he grew up from last year but he still has the pure meanness and toughness look in his eyes, not a bad thing. Hopefully with what he is learning technique wise will calm that look a little in the positive. My seats are in second row of the SE corner which is directly opposite of our coaches corner so I hardly have to look up to see how they are reacting to each match and there were three things that I noticed last night.
1) DT and Gilman both motioned for Spratley to cut his opponent 2 or 3 times with Spratley looking right at them and he didn't do it.
2) Throughout Anine's match DT was giving a circular hand motion indicated, "pick up the pace". This guy has got to be driving him crazy.
3) The same for Spratly but not as much.
Also, Spratly seemed ridiculously strong out there tonight. With a little more confidence he could be a killer.
Probably not wrong. Glad Surber won and all but did he take a real shot the whole match? Surely one but I honestly can’t remember seeing one.
This is a concern for me in all his matches. Great scoring in that waterfall but at some point folks start to prepare for it.Probably not wrong. Glad Surber won and all but did he take a real shot the whole match? Surely one but I honestly can’t remember seeing one.
With his attitude and aggressiveness, there’s no reason why he can’t win it allDamn! I'm loving Hamiti's aggressiveness.
174 - Hamiti 21-4 TF in 5 minutes.
20-9 oSu
He took a couple in the 1st I’m pretty sure. He didn’t get very deep tho.Probably not wrong. Glad Surber won and all but did he take a real shot the whole match? Surely one but I honestly can’t remember seeing one.
Of course we’re not going to on you for saying that he is the real deal, it’s a little more how you said it. That being said, he is the real deal. I see Hamiti, Wyatt, and Sprat as real threats to title. Podium threats will be TJ, Plott, Cam. potential to AA most of the other guysThis board hated me when I said he was unequivocally the best wrestler on the team. I much rather see a wrestler go for I than to stall and play it safe. Aggressiveness is difficult to coach, technique is easier to coach.Welp
