I have not been following recruiting much this year, but I just looked at the OK HS class for this year. The top 6 guys are 4-stars: 2 committed to Arkansas, 1 to Michigan State (really?), 1 to OU, 1 to UNC (really?), 1 to Alabama.
Did we go after any of these guys? Or are they guys we think are overrated, which is possible. I mean I get a top Oklahoma kid choosing Alabama or OU. I guess I kind of get a kid choosing Arky, since it's close; but they've been a bitch of a program for about 15 years now. Me... being from western Oklahoma have never understood the pull of Arkansas, but whatever. But MSU & UNC... seriously? Do these kids have personal connections to those states?
Also, we don't have one player in the top 10. And please spare me the rankings are often wrong lecture... I understand that.
