Ohio State perp.... drumroll please....

What if a dominant faction emerges that wants to spread the word, so to speak? Africa, a fertile Europe, etc . ..

Fwiw, I'm in agreement on your position.
If a it is a military type invasion of a country defend the international order that respects national sovereignty (If we are in the business of maintaining international orders anymore, otherwise just check if defending that country is in the national interest). If it is simply a matter of Islamic cultural diffusion, then the countries it spreads to probably weren't worth saving.

Jill Stein is in bad need of your services.

Well, I agree with him 100% but at least one of the "likers" was ripping Obama for non action within the last week in another thread. Fortunately I'm not the kind of guy to keep score or point out those kinds of inconsistencies. I'll just say, "Welcome to the pro-Obama foreign policy fold."

Obama's foreign policy hasn't been to get out of the Middle East. Those of us who criticize his foreign policies don't do so because we've wanted more invasions and military action. We've criticized him for being on the wrong side of each new Middle East conflict. His Libya policy is a disaster. Syria is a disaster. His support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was a disaster.

The place: Cordell Hall 1980, my Freshman year. I learned a very valuable lesson that wasn't in the classroom. I had a nice guy from Jordan (Christian faith) living next door to me. He was an older student because he had served in the Jordanian army. He was the first person from another country that I had ever talked politics. We were discussing the Muslim vs Christian fighting. He made a statement that I remember to this day, he said "in the middle East conflicts, when you hear 'Christians' most of the time it does not mean a faith like Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, etc. it is a political term meaning anything other than Muslim". I had always assumed they were killing folks that participated in things like Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Youth Camps, and the like. What I learned is our American term for Christian doesn't necessarily mean the same in other parts of the world.
