Does Sys not understand difference in free market and regulations/protections set up to protect companies that invest in discovery?
People insist on making unhealthy decisions, the demand for drugs goes up. The price goes up.
Is that from Russia, or did you come up with that kernel yourself?
Here we are almost 10 years after the AFFORDABLE Care Act was passed by Democrats and Obama with zero Republican support and you, a Democrat sycophant, are bitching about healthcare costs. Has the ACA not delivered on its promises?
It took ten seconds to find out ars technica is a leftist mouthpiece.

Could you show me the promises?
You supported Obamacare but had no idea what Barry and the Democrats promised it would do? That definitely sounds like someone who is unaware and compliant.Could you show me the promises?
And let's evaluate promises of Fatass while you're at it. Deal?
Well, here they are @Syskatine. Which ones haven't been delivered on? I would think you wouldn't be bitching about healthcare if the ACA did as promised.Promise #1: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”
Promise #2: “[T]hat means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.”
Promise #3: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year.”
Promise #4: “[F]or the 85 and 90 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, this thing’s already happened. And their only impact is that their insurance is stronger, better and more secure than it was before. Full stop. That’s it. They don’t have to worry about anything else.”
Promise #5: “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.”
Promise #6: “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits—either now or in the future.”
Promise #7: “[W]hatever ideas exist in terms of bending the cost curve and starting to reduce costs for families, businesses, and government, those elements are in this bill.”
Promise #8: “I will protect Medicare.”
Promise #9: “I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American.”
Promise #10: “So this law means more choice, more competition, lower costs for millions of Americans.”
You supported Obamacare but had no idea what Barry and the Democrats promised it would do? That definitely sounds like someone who is unaware and compliant.
Has the GOP passed a healthcare law claiming it would lower healthcare costs and reduce premiums? Is not passing legislation more egregious in your world than passing legislation while knowingly lying about it to get support for it?Show me what aware and non-compliant looks like. List the GOp measures that have lowered health care costs and reduced premiums.
Bwaaahahahahahahahaha!!!!Promise #1: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”
AC, I had BC/BS for me and my office before and after OC. Still do. Premiums leveled off for a couple years.
Promise #2: “[T]hat means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.”
I kept my Dr. Surely 10 years later some Doctors and insurance plans have changed?
Promise #3: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year.”
Promise #4: “[F]or the 85 and 90 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, this thing’s already happened. And their only impact is that their insurance is stronger, better and more secure than it was before. Full stop. That’s it. They don’t have to worry about anything else.”
Same as above.
Promise #5: “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.”
He didn't get his plan -- he had to compromise. Also, he broke that with a cigarrette tax, though.
Promise #6: “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits—either now or in the future.”
Did he?
Promise #7: “[W]hatever ideas exist in terms of bending the cost curve and starting to reduce costs for families, businesses, and government, those elements are in this bill.”
Not now they aren't. They did for a while.
Promise #8: “I will protect Medicare.”
Huh?
Promise #9: “I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American.”
This didn't happen. He wanted it though.
Promise #10: “So this law means more choice, more competition, lower costs for millions of Americans.”
It did at first. Now it's LESS choice and LESS competition.
That was a hell cut and past, AC. Now it's your turn. Tell me what your conservatives have done since... oh, the last 20 years to bring costs and premiums down.
Has the GOP passed a healthcare law claiming it would lower healthcare costs and reduce premiums? Is not passing legislation more egregious in your world than passing legislation while knowingly lying about it to get support for it?
less than 10 people losing their coverage is pretty good really.Promise #1: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.”
Politifact targeted this Obama "promise" as the "Lie of the Year."

Up to 9.3 Americans lost their coverage during the first open enrollment period.
Re-check my typo dummy: 9.3 million.less than 10 people losing their coverage is pretty good really.
How many of those people liked their coverage?Re-check my typo dummy: 9.3 million.
My dear Syster, we both know the GOP hasn't passed any healthcare legislation aimed at lowering healthcare costs and reduced premiums. The Democrats did. Did it work as promised or not?Come on, list the GOP measures that have lowered health care costs and reduced premiums. Pretty fair question if you're criticizing the other side's efforts.

I've asked your opinion and you just screech about conthervatifths. In fact, I've been seeking your opinion on what Obamacare has/hasn't delivered in this thread and all you've done is screech about conthervatifths. I haven't seen you offer any criticism of the Democrats over Obamacare. Do you have some that you want to share?Yeah for a while. Once the health insurance industry thought the heat was off they went ape shit again.
You should consider asking my opinion in lieu of telling me what it is.
Sorry, I couldn't find a Pravda article to satisfy you.
Leftist/Statist calling @HighStickHarry and me commies is arguably the best thing that's happened in a week of awesome things.

Well how much Russian propaganda can you spread? Hell Pravda didn't type as much of it as you have.
Actually..... Whari backed off the Seth Rich deal while you were still Sherlocking the shit out of it and insta-tweeting every russian talking point. I'm thinking of issuing another apology to Wharri this weekend.
I haven't seen you offer any criticism of the Democrats over Obamacare. Do you have some that you want to share?
Listen to yourself. Seriously read your posts out loud. You sound like a lunatic.
