I have not achieved common ground with you, you fail to see the lack of consistency in your position between Florida and Washington, you could demonstrate the need for a line in the sand, it has to start somewhere. You continue to argue a point on this that is a falsehood as well. IF I lived in Washington, what a joke.
I've told you numerous times that I don't support the Washington state law. How many times do I have to tell you this? Again, I don't support the law in Washington state, nor would I support such an attempt to create a similar law in Florida.
I am also not being inconsistent on this. The Florida law is creating a problem that doesn't exist and is an attack on public educators and LGBTQ students from right-wingers. It is a bad law, just like the Washington law is (and what the Texas Governor is trying to do). You seem to think it is acceptable to support one bad law to send a message to another state that also passed a bad law. That is foolishness. One can oppose both the Washington law and the Florida law. And one should.
btw, it is you who are showing a lack of consistency here. You complain about what Washington did (removing a parent's right to consent) but then you turn around and want to strip parents of their right to seek gender-affirming medical care for their children. You are doing exactly what those in Washington are doing, just from a different perspective. You are seeking to take away parent's medical rights over their children. You are doing what you complain about Washington doing! Hypocrisy.
Were you denouncing all the burn, loot , and murder that was happening in this country?
Yes. I don't support anyone who engages in these actions. I support peaceful protest.
I also, though, understand the frustration and anger that exists in certain communities that feel as if their voices aren't being heard. Does this justify violence? No. But we need to be listening to their concerns. Do you care to listen to them? Or do you just dismiss what they have to say about their experiences?
So much racism in this country,
Unfortunately, there is a lot of racism in this country. Denying that racism exists in this country is just denying reality.
As for Biden's issues, how do you explain it, particularly the gaffe prone slurring of words, forgetting, rambling, getting mad, and not taking questions, WAY fewer questions than Trump? Saying I was told not to take questions, or was told to ask a question of these 2 reporters only? We knew why Trump acted as he did, his ego. There is a reason Biden behaves as he does, he is old as hell and he is in the early stages of dementia. So, you still can not face reality.
Biden has always been known as graffe-prone and having a tendency to ramble. This is nothing new for him. He has done this throughout his political career. And how do I explain something he has done his entire political career? Some people are just like that, especially politicians who frequently go off script as Biden (and Trump) did. You just wrote a post that was filled with a lot of rambling. Are you in the early stages of dementia?🤣
As for slurring of words, Biden has dealt with a very bad stuttering problem since childhood. He faced a lot of mockery for it as a child, including even from a teacher (as he still does from his political opponents such as yourself). He still struggles with his stutter and sometimes he overcompensates, which is common for someone with a stuttering problem. Again, this has nothing to do with dementia. If you cared to take time to read about how Biden has dealt with his stuttering problem his entire life, you would know this.
As for Trump, come on man. Trump made gaffes and rambled when he went off script all the time. Those around him were always telling him to stay on script and read the prepared remarks. Did Trump have dementia?
Lastly, a President and his staff seeking to control a press conference isn't anything new. It is actually smart.
The foolish idea (and right-wing talking point) that Biden has dementia or is medically mentally challenged is just foolishness. It isn't reality.
