Oh, that makes sense. The information the incoming President says he is going to use as a blueprint is irrelevant. Good to know.No. Both are 0% factual or relevant.

The thing you called irrelevant was that very same incoming president's tax plan.Oh, that makes sense. The information the incoming President says he is going to use as a blueprint is irrelevant. Good to know.
That sure is specific information to work with. I hope Trump and his people know what they are doing with such broad and vague info. And who says pensions can't be cut?Math and politics.
Try it yourself.

Remember not to cut Medicare, Pensions, or Defense spending. Get to 1.05 trillion in cuts. Also remember that for any cut you make you can only have 2 Republican senators defect.
I didn't post about his tax plan. I reposted the article about spending cuts in reference to davidallen's post about his tax plan and "Lower tax revenue means higher national debt unless you think Trump will reduce spending."The thing you called irrelevant was that very same incoming president's tax plan.
And nothing he says really matters until it is in writing on government letter head. He says lots of conflicting things. it is is part of his strategy. You should know this by now, and I think you do since you are already saying his tax plan from October is irrelevant.
I believe that he said that he wouldn't cut SS/Medicare benefits, but that doesn't mean spending can't be cut by delaying benefits.Except Trump has committed to increasing the defense budget and not cutting SS or Medicare (You couldn't get 50 senators on board with it either).
Trump. Unless we just ignore everything he has ever said except for his support for this fantasy budget. That sure is specific information to work with. I hope Trump and his people know what they are doing with such broad and vague info. And who says pensions can't be cut?
I already did the math for you. the parts of the budget that Trump left after all of the things he declared off limits or were going to be increased amounts to 1.36 trillion.Politics? Lol. Sure, except I have a strange feeling that the landscape of "politics" has already started to change.
Oh, and it isn't MY job to cut 1.05 trillion. As I previously stated, my repost was in reference to a davidallen post. But if you'd like me to do some math for the hell of it I will.
He doesn't have to cut spending, and he shouldn't, and he won't do anything the Heritage Foundation suggested since thats the Ted Cruz thing to do. My point was merely that 10 trillion is a bullshit figure just like all the figures being tossed around right now.Does cutting spending really matter? You've stated numerous times that national debt is good for everyone, so why would anyone worry about deficit spending in the trillions? Since it's good, I say spend 10 trillion a year more than the country can afford.
You have totally forgotten the point. Your article is irrelevant and unfactual, just like Davidallen's. Both are based on stuff Trump said. Both irrelevant, neither going to happen.I didn't post about his tax plan. I reposted the article about spending cuts in reference to davidallen's post about his tax plan and "Lower tax revenue means higher national debt unless you think Trump will reduce spending."
Now that you've talked yourself in a circle, do you feel better? None of this was a difficult concept.
Well OK then. Thanks for holding my hand for a walk on the pilt side. You have totally forgotten the point. Your article is irrelevant and unfactual, just like Davidallen's. Both are based on stuff Trump said. Both irrelevant, neither going to happen.
no prob, babeWell OK then. Thanks for holding my hand for a walk on the pilt side.

Ssshhhhhh. pilt and I are on a romantic walk. There is no waste in the federal government that can be found and eliminated. All of the spending, wasteful or not, is necessary. In 2016...the link posted showed $1 trillion in growth the first 5 years. Make the cuts he suggests and stop the growth, you easily can gut $10 trillion over 10 years.
