In that book Rhodes said that 0bama aides had to console him by telling him he would have won a third term if he could have run. Poor little narcissist got his feelers hurt because voters rejected his third term by proxy. He wasn't too good. He wasn't too smart. I know. If one actually read the article, one would see that Dowd is actually critiquing Obama. She does it in her own signature style, but it is clear she is critiquing an aspect of the Obama presidency.

I found her discussion of why Obama supported Clinton instead of his own VP to be very interesting.
