So we were up in Stilly a week ago or so for a game and over at Joes. Had a nice chatty bartender who was on her way to becoming a vet, but she wasn’t going to do it in Stillwater. She was applied to Kansas State and she felt good about getting in. Well, me being the OSU guy I am wondered why would she not just stay here at one of the top vet schools in the nation?
She goes on to tell me we’ve fallen wayyyyy down the list like 19th out of 20 schools or something. Was she even talking about how we have lost our accreditation? She may have, I was in shock by her first statement. She said we went down hill fast during covid. Said they are trying to right the ship but she wasn’t going to wait although it’s hard to see herself leaving. Say it ain’t so.
