She helped kill a lot of Nazis...I don’t get the importance of the whole royalty deal in today’s world. If they keep producing idiots like Harry and the guy who raped teenagers, they can’t go away fast enough.
"Today's world"
Yes, if the line of succession remains unchanged, Great Britain will have at least three Kings to follow Queen Elizabeth. I for one hope Prince Charles takes the regal name of King George VII.I’m a fan.
She will be the last Queen for a few generations. May be at least 60-70 years.
A monarchy in this country would be much more preferable to the mess we currently have to deal with as Americans.Meh. Monarchy.........bunch of schlubs.
If only we had a non-partisan King/Queen to reign over us. A unifying Head of State. What we desperately miss in this country of ours.

Or just continue to support reform of this country before it is too late.Looks like you need to go find another country.

Nope. We’re good. Hell, a lot of the British population doesn’t like the monarchy.A monarchy in this country would be much more preferable to the mess we currently have to deal with as Americans.
Actually, we aren't good. Not at all. Some of our problems could be solved if we had a constitutional monarchy. I think most Americans would be shocked at how more unified we would be as a people if we had a King or Queen.Nope. We’re good. Hell, a lot of the British population doesn’t like the monarchy.

Monarchism also remains very popular in Great Britain. There is a little support for a republic, as there always has been, but overall, support for the monarch in Great Britian remains very high. As it always will. A constitutional monarchy is superior to a republic in my opinion.

God Save The Queen!
Seventy years on the throne, a magnificent accomplishment. A great Queen who has served her peoples well.

It's bedtime CowboyUp. Go get some sleep.
I'm not a troll if that is what you think. I've been a member of this site for almost two years now.I'll take your word for it. A question though. Does he really believe what he posts? Or is this just a really ineffective and failed troll job? In my entire life, I never met an American who wants a monarchy. Very eccentric.
Sure thing, brt.I'm sorry but I don't know what you are referencing.
Do you want my view of Catholicism?

There are a number of Americans who support a monarch. A number of organizations have existed and do exist that contain American supporters of monarchism. There have also been supporters of some form of an American monarchy stretching back to the founders. This is not a new concept in this country.
More than that. Recent polls shown shown support as high as 13% and as low as 5% of Americans. Other Americans state no formed opinion, meaning they could be open to the idea.3? 6?
Than perhaps you should wash your socks.Member of the site for almost two years....that has no idea who brt is and only started using the account to start posting yesterday.
I smell socks.
As clearly demonstrated by Brexit, right?Actually, we aren't good. Not at all. Some of our problems could be solved if we had a constitutional monarchy. I think most Americans would be shocked at how more unified we would be as a people if we had a King or Queen.
Agree, although I do think that the future king's indiscretions are a big reason the current Queen hasn't abdicated to this point. The future king gets the same pass Bill Clinton gets here.
His ties to the biggest (known) perv in England are swatted down by a captured press.
I am not a Democrat. I am also not wishing for a dictator. I abhor dictatorships and believe that the absence of a monarch if what often leads to a dictator. As clearly demonstrated by Brexit, right?
In reality, the UK has been blessed by having a benevolent, mostly non-partisan Queen for the past 70 years, but that's not guaranteed. Prince Harry is "burned out" just being a part-time royal, living in his multi-million dollar mansion in LA surrounded by his millionaire buddies. Can you imagine if he had to actually DO the royal job. Do you think he would be a "uniter" of the UK peoples with his constant wokism?
But its fascinating to see you Dems line up and wish such dictators upon us as better than our system of Constitutional Representation in government.
Are you referring to Charles or Phillip? The future king gets the same pass Bill Clinton gets here.

The Queen of England has not abdicated because of her oath and promise to her peoples. It has nothing to do with Prince Charles. The Prince's time will come in due course, if he is destined to wear the crown.Agree, although I do think that the future king's indiscretions are a big reason the current Queen hasn't abdicated to this point.
