Is it possible that material was diverted from the Apollo plant to Israel at the direction of Shapiro? Absolutely yes. Shapiro was a big supporter of all things Israel, including Israel developing nukes for deterrence.
Have you bothered putting the same effort into reading about other plausible explanations for the material loss that are in the public domain, or do you only read things that confirm your bias against Israel? I'll give you one to consider for starters. Apollo isn't the only facility that had nuclear material go missing. Take a look at this article from 1977.
Based on your post you've assume the strike mission was a failure and the nuclear site didn't sustain enough damage for it to be considered destroyed. While we are still waiting to see results of the strike can you provide what damage it would take for you to consider the site destroyed?
Of course the article is speculative, the truth has been squirreled away in a triple locked top secret hidden fortress protected by a US government that is ruled by the government of Israel. No. Do you think Israel has nuclear weapons? If you do can you point to the classified literature that proves it? Classified literature recently leaked shows the 30,000 bombs, if they were really used (there’s lots of speculation they weren’t), didn’t have the effect we were assured by Trump and his puppet master, Netanyahu, destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Can you speculate why there has been no leak proving Israel has (or doesn’t have) nuclear weapons, or Israel did (or didn’t) steal weapons grade nuclear materials? Without proof, honest to God irrefutable proof, should the rest of the world operate under the assumption Israel is nuke-free?
As the world's leading super power, your GD right we have the not only the right but the moral duty to determine who does and does not have nuclear weapons. It's clear a major difference between you and I is that I don't get emotionally invested in things I have no control over.

I couldn't agree more. America's and Israel's actions are the actions of a hegemon desperate to maintain control by any actions available to them. Terrorism has worked very well for them both. But a little birdie tells me things changed after the hegemon got punched back as hard as they punched. The world finally got to see a little fright from the two bullies.
