Hahahahahahaha....think it is expensive now wait until your country (& the US) has to quadruple the grid to handle all these wonderful EV's. But am wondering are the electrical companies now going to be classified as evil like big oil?

Pluis there will be times the spigot will be turned off in high peak hours or maybe for an extra fee you can charge up while the rest of the surfs can't.

A granola crunching lefty might have an answer for us. His book is called Alcohol Can Be a Gas.

You can get conversion kits that allow your normal car to run E85+

If you have 1 or 2 acres you can grow sugar beets and turn them into a years worth of fuel.

Lots of hassle and time BUT with the cost of gas and the push for EVs, that cost as much as a small house in some places, this might be the future.

That sounds awfully involved. I'll just continue driving my 37 yr. old 944 which runs fine on no ethanol.
