No mention of RNC calling the riot "legitimate political discourse."

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: any time the general public can scare the ever lovin’ crap out of our ruling class I consider it legitimate.
For someone who claims to not support authoritarianism, you sure do enjoy supporting authoritarian strongmen and their mobs. Funny how you fail to see your hypocrisy on this.

I have no doubt that if a dictator arose in this country who spoke your language about the "ruling class" and "establishment," you would support him 100%. Or her, in the case of someone like Gabbard. I mean, just look at the way you fall all over yourself proclaiming your love and allegiance to her.

Like I said, the leader just needs to speak your language and you would readily accept authoritarinism from that leader. No doubt about it.

No, you are wrong. I would wait for @_Insider_ to tell me what to do.

Nothing would have been accomplished. Biden would still be president. You’re reeeeeeeeeing for no reason.

Actually Maga reeeee'd on Jan. 6 because they were so hopped up on right wing propaganda they actually thought they were victimized and somehow they were gonna de-certify the election, or something like that.

It'll be a story for a loooooong time. Our grandkids will learn about it. Failed insurrections from conservatives seem to happen periodically. I guess McVeigh was the last one?

McVeigh was a conservative? Do tell. What is a conservative, and in what way was McVeigh like that?

Sure I am, and you know it. That is I live rent free in your head.

Go ahead though, defend authoritarians and their mobs some more. Make twenty more posts about Gabbard, your wet dream dictator.

🤣🤣

You don't live rent free in my head. @_Insider_ does. That must drive you nuts. Oh, wait ....

You don't live rent free in my head.
Clearly I do. You see me everywhere.

Did you count your last 15 posts? How many of them did you tag me in?

Only an SOB would beg like that.
Do you believe it was wrong for Trump to beg for fake votes to be created in Georgia? Does such behavior from a leader, a leader who is clearly trying to overturn an election he lost, troublesome at all to you?

Well there was the left winger who shot the republican softball team.

You live rent free in my head only if you are @_Insider_. Are you ready to fess up?

Sure, I think it is wrong for Trump to beg for fake votes. Trump was my "leader" only because other people voted for him. I did not.

I thought the same thing for my entire life until:

iu

That's when I learned that violence is acceptable to society. Everything since then is just further escalating of the accepted standard above.
Such a snowflake.

Just saying if pressing against a barrier and security personnel is your litmus test …

With riot gear and TRUMP flags flying high?

Yeah, it'd be a lot more defensible if that was the worst of it.

You just have to shake your head in amazement at how many of these guys are blaming Trump now. They really and truly with all their hearts thought he was gonna get the election set aside or something (?? what??) and they're wounded he hasn't bailed them out of this.

As usual with liberals you’ve made the fatal flaw of calling a mole hill a mountain. I’ve seen more violence after a snowball fight on Greek row.

No, but the answer suggests this wasn't merely a little "legitimate political discourse."
Wasn’t an insurrection either. Let’s be honest. That group of nut balls had no chance of overthrowing government. I wish it hadn’t happened. If it had stayed outside you would have still been trying to make political hay over the “riot in waiting” though.

This is so dumb. Words mean something. This is exactly the reason people are losing faith. Hyperbolize long enough and people either tune out of get pissed.

Yes, it was ludicrous and stupid on so many levels. But that demographic thought and believed so many ludicrous and stupid things, over and over. Being dumb isn't a defense.

But I'm open minded.... what sensible objective was at stake when they were rioting, storming politicians offices, smearing doodoo, stealing flags, tearing shit up, fighting with cops, smashing windows, stealing computers, etc.?

Same kind of group think frenzy that caused all the damage done by certain idiots during the Black Lives Matter protests.
