If that indicates he was a priority, then wouldn't it also indicate he was poached? My starting point is to assume he wasn't poached and so my conclusion is that he was set on coming to OSU for his own reasons (like he talked about in the podcast)

I have no idea if he was poached. But I think there was a good chance he was. I'm just not going to turn into a PSU fan where I believe all these guys just show up on the door step. I think if a former AA shows up at your school the coaches wanted them.

So they don't think Hughes or Jamison either one can make 141? R16 is too low for Doucet with everyone leaving that weight.

I wasn't multiplying. I know its going to be tough winning even 2 NCAA individual championship with 0 favorites.

I think 125 will be like last year. One of 12 guys could be the champ and there will be many expected All Americans that don't wrestle on Saturday. The difference in talent is small. Spratley was the fourth seed in the Big 12 last year and only two Big 12 guys AA'd in 2025. That is a tough weight to count on someone returning to the finals again.

There’s not much level to jump. Tboy is a minute bit away from being the guy that most likely won’t be beat.

I do not think anyone at 125 will be that guy. My gut feeling is the national champion next year will have two or more losses during the year.
