More so just saying Robideau is a dang tough and talented wrestler as well. Hope both reach their potential. We're not talking he'll be like Marsteller sucked down. He's not that big. 157 is doable.

Dee went 172 pounds for Pittsburg classic just last week. I dont think he can make 157 week in week out next year without losing something. We're not talking he'll be like Marsteller sucked down. He's not that big. 157 is doable.
Right. It's one thing making a one time weigh in, but all season long plus 3 weigh ins at nationals is a different animal.Dee went 172 pounds for Pittsburg classic just last week. I dont think he can make 157 week in week out next year without losing something.
I won't pretend to know, but I made the initial suggestion solely because he went 74kg in freestyle last year. Not sure where he is planning for this year, but if it's 74kg, I wouldn't rule out 157 completely. Still probably unlikely and, clearly 165/174 is the plan.Right. I think, and hope, the days of super weight cutting is behind us. I remember when I wrestled during the stone ages, I wore the plastics, in a sauna, spitting, not eating for days. I’m pretty lucky that I don’t have permanent damage (that I know of) (maybe some Dain Bramage).I won't pretend to know, but I made the initial suggestion solely because he went 74kg in freestyle last year. I want something like that too. But not sure if Jamieson is good 157.I think the best OSU line up is:
Spratley
Figueroa
Cael Hughes
Swiderski
Jamison — bad man when he doesn’t have to cut
Lockett
Facundo
Ryder/Thompson
Merrill
Doucet
I’d rather have Jamison at 49 too and think he will surprise a lot of folks up a weight. I also want to see Swiderski and Echemendia wrestle which is the reason he left.I want something like that too. But not sure if Jamieson is good 157.

I agree the best weight for Casey is 149 and Hughes is 141. But wonder if Jamieson can beat Casey for 149 or TT for 157. Will be exciting off season for sure. Tagen offense is so limited against good competition.I’d rather have Jamison at 49 too and think he will surprise a lot of folks up a weight. I also want to see Swiderski and Echemendia wrestle which is the reason he left.
But, I’d take Jamison over TT all day long
Does anyone know how Jamison vs Travis goes in the room?I think the best OSU line up is:

At 141, it must have been Jamison over Travis because Tagen and Jordan Williams forced Teague all the way up to 157. I think most of us were doubters of that working. Although not an AA at 157, Teague was a great and pleasant surprise jumping those 2 weight classes. Maybe the same would be true for Jamison or Swiderski except they be even more competitive. Also have to consider that Travis appeared to have injured his good knee in his last match. How healthy will he be? No doubting his toughness.Does anyone know how Jamison vs Travis goes in the room?
I didn't know Travis could get down to 141.At 141, it must have been Jamison over Travis because Tagen and Jordan Williams forced Teague all the way up to 157. Good for the room. Was about to get akward.
Can we start yelling for a stall calls as soon as the whistle starts on Iowa? Or will that make it feel too much like a home match for them?Oklahoma State v Iowa (as it stands right now)

Agree with this IF the big bump doesn’t negate the size advantage Jamison enjoys at 141/149.I think the best OSU line up is:

oh yes... YOU do. lolWhile this is fun to discuss, I don't think we have any clue what our roster will look like from 41-65 and or 84.
I'll bet we see close to 20 different Wrestlers compete in the dual market next season and we won't know our NCAA lineup until Big Xii brackets are released.
On Iowa, they will be similar in who knows what they'll be. There is talk of Mikey going to 57, Arnold/PK at 65 and 74 and Ludington wearing a shirt...but could be rolled out in the dual.
However the lineups shake out that is going to be a heck of a dual. GIA should be sold out.Oklahoma State v Iowa (as it stands right now)

When Bo was making the thumbnail was he trying to make the most slappable face ever or does that just come naturally to him?
Wasn't sure which thread to put this in. Here's an interview Bo Nickal just released interviewing Zack Ryder that was filmed before Ryder hit the portal. I assume it was also before Rocco was rumored to be transferring, but I haven't watched yet

It’s amazing the strength and energy a wrestler can have, when they have a little foodI’d rather have Jamison at 49 too and think he will surprise a lot of folks up a weight. I also want to see Swiderski and Echemendia wrestle which is the reason he left.

Honestly, no one should EVER complain about Travis’ performance last year. Tossups the entire list. That’s insane. Maybe a slight lean to Iowa. But, almost negligible.Oklahoma State v Iowa (as it stands right now)

Heard Ayala wet himself when he heard of the Figeuroa transfer news. Championship match flash backs.what do you mean slight Iowa lean? I see slight OSU lean.
Iowa favorites are Ayala, Caliendo (maybe, but not really), Ferrari and Bailey.
Sprately, Facundo, Merrill and Doucet are OSU favorites.
Swiderski v Williams and Robideau v Voinovich both pushes.
Is it true Steveson found an extra year and wants to portal down to Stilly to win that 3rd title under DT.Hendrickson mindset bud!![]()
I believe Hendrickson done broke that man.Is it true Steveson found an extra year and wants to portal down to Stilly to win that 3rd title under DT.![]()
Kueter should be the favorite over KD, especially if he puts on some weight while he's rehabbing and not playing football. He AA'd as a freshman, that's impressive at HWT especially with the depth this past season.what do you mean slight Iowa lean? I see slight OSU lean.

I'd take another year of Pindrickson. I think he could pin everyone remaining at 285.I believe Hendrickson done broke that man.
