Next Years Lineup

This is a great analysis but cmon man if you're going to be an OSU fan on an OSU fan board you have to lose the PSU logo lol
if you would like PSU fans pretending to be OSU fans, there are plenty out there. I don't think you want them. They used to reside on the Iowa board so they are looking for a new home. Once OSU becomes more successful, they will come here like a moth to a flame.

All fan bases have them.

It seems 133 to 149 is the only murky part of the lineup. Possibly 197 but that obviously is going to be one guy or another, with Merrill holding a redshirt.

Another interesting scenario, if Hughes can't make 133 and will opt to challenge 141 instead, could McComas be the guy? In his interview in the summer, he said he's about 148 in the summer but added he could cut to 125 if he really needed to lol. To be honest, if Hughes can't make 133 comfortably for a season and McComas is clearly ahead of Witcraft, it probably makes sense. Redshirting if anything can create a jam later with everyone DT is bringing in there.
JJ wants to make a run at 125 this year. He's no stranger to the cut and hasn't grown much since his Soph year when he made 126 fairly easily.

Guess he's welcome to challenge Spratley to a wrestleoff but after the summer Troy put in with RBY, Daton and Gilman (after he was on the cusp last year already), probably ill advised. JJ said he prefers to redshirt also in his interview earlier this summer, I was just spitballing ideas.

I lean Hughes and Jamison will find a way to make 133/141 work. DT can have them start later in the season and put them on a pitch count. If they do their part off the mat correctly, they will peak in March.

Barraclough over hunter garvin..Makes me even more intrigued for Amine opening night match.
I’ve done a full 180 from my overly dramatic reaction to him committing but I still wish we had got bearclaw from a pure wrestling standpoint… that said I’m super excited to see Amine and after spending some time around the kid I can tell you that he’s exactly who you want in the room and as a leader. I just hope he’s able to unlock some things that have really held him back.

Yeah, if anyone can do it, DT can. Plus, I’m really happy for UVU to get a great wrestler. The more Parity there is, the better

He’s never been dreadful at the correct weight. He’s been injured and didn’t perform well or he’s made some ill-timed mistakes.

He’s never been dreadful.
So getting pinned TWICE at the Big 12's and going 0-2 at Nationals at the same weight he's slotted for isn't dreadful. I've seen some great, some good, and some piss poor matches out of him. I want him to succeed but the last few years haven't shown it.

So, what weight is he suited for? 184?
