I don't know what's funnier Adam, the governor or the voters that are whining about 100K illegals. Strange how people react when the consequences of their political support effect them personally.
Was at a fantasy football draft last night with a bunch of old friends. The couple that hosted the draft are Democrat voters and they started talking about the cost of groceries. Another buddy of mine stood up and told them they couldn't complain about anything they voted for it. We are all good friends and it was said and taken in good humor but the look of realization in their face was worth the price of admission.

Probably half of my circle are dimms. We laugh and joke about our political environment with a few heated debates here and there but always civil in the end. On the other hand, 99.9% of my buds are horns, Aggies, red raiders and purple toads. I tell you what though, shit hits the fan almost to the point of fisticuffs during our gameday gatherings. Ain't changed in 30+ years. Our gameday routine I hope never ends. I'm the lone sooner and for the most part have had the upper hand over the years. 😁

It doesn’t matter. Like my buddy Joe who moved back to Oklahoma from California during Covid. He left because of the authoritarian rule only to come here and be as far left as ever.

The Cali migration has hit Texas hard the last 20 years. They've invaded Texas capitol, Austin at an exponential rate. I'm hopeful Greg will keep Texas, Texas.
