According to the San Diego Union Tribune, former San Diego head coach Bill Grier has been hired to fill the vacant assistant coaching position. According to his bio, he was at Gonzaga for 16 years before becoming USD's head coach, the last 8 as Mark Few's top assistant.
I know nothing about assistant coaches but this sounds like a pretty good hire. Thoughts?
