You make a good point, Woody. The only thing you might want to remember is it’s 2024, not 1990, and its a relatively depleted reserve army of the IDF, not fresh and professional American marines.

You’re mistaken in thinking Israel can do it on their own, unless by “on their own” you mean with American weaponry. If this becomes a war of attrition it will become interesting to see if the Israelis in Tel Aviv are going to spend every night for months hiding in their shelters while their hometown gets bombarded like they’ve never experienced. Here’s hoping Netanyahu comes to his senses.
