Oh man. Feels like lot of really bad draws for OSU.

Fish is the only one that got a decent draw.
Can’t help but feel couple of wins more in big 12 might have changed some of these. DT is getting trial by fire in his first NCAAs
I agree, bad draws. Could have wrestled out of those in the Big XIIs so they individually have to own that.
Fish got the best draw. Spratley, Jamison, and Amine got bad draws. I actually like where Plott and Surber fell. None of the others strike me as particularly good or bad. I would be a little mad if I was Henson at 157 likely drawing Teague as my first opponent. He should beat him, but it will not be the cakewalk he deserves as the #1 seed.
Yep, really consequential losses for Spratley and Hamiti in the conference finals. Meanwhile, Tagen might have gotten a great draw at the 8 seed had he lost to Alirez 🤷♂️
You mean the guy he's beat twice including a pin this season.
Trumble started to find his groove in the second half of match 2, I don’t expect this to be an easy win. I would match rather Wyatt matched up with Kueter or Heindselman
To place second, this team will have to score tons of points on the back side. It's going to be difficult to even get a wrestler into the finals. Hamiti probably has the best chance to get to the finals. The team will need to wrestle well above their seeds and score lots of bonus points.
Brock Hardy as the #1 seed is funny. Jamison has owned him the last 2 times they've met.
I agree. I see some bad matchups, but no bad seedings. And while those bad matchups can sting us on the front end, they can often result in favorable matchups on the backside.
Everyone has bad matchups. College wrestling is at its peak competitively. The depth right now is crazy.

I actually like the draws. It’s NCAAs.. it’s not going to be a cake walk. It has to be earned. I like spratleys chances although the first match between the two was close I expect for it to be close again.
Jamison will be a couple of matches in and I like when his motor gets going. Not saying he wins but he did beat alirez and this will be a close match as well.
Travis will have to do some work on the back side. I see him 1-2 or 2-2
Amine will have a tough go but he can still work magic on the back side after Mitchell M match.
Surber (hopefully he gets to that match with Cardenas) will win a scramble or two against Cardenas but I dont think he wins. Need him to stay cowboy tough and get AA this year.
I like Wyatt against anyone but gable.

I agree but Trumble got 5th in the ACC tournament and needed an at large bid, might be hurt.
