I've always been interested in the American obsession and fascination with the First Ladies. Have never seen this kind of interest in other countries for the spouse of an elected official. Kind of similar to the First Lady of Oklahoma. Kevin Stitt's wife could walk into my office right now and I'd have no idea who she is. If Melania Trump had married Barack Obama, would the MAGA base still be calling her beautiful and celebrating her multilingual abilities? This stuff is not complicated.

It started with Jackie Kennedy, the WH had never seen such a young couple with kids and Jackie was beautiful, intelligent, and had style never seen before. She became royalty. Camelot was born. Jackie was the original to which all will be compared for beauty, fashion, and style. It is a very high bar and very few will enter that conversation.

Obama was the first black Prez and the first family was media darlings and tried to build them in to something they were not.
Michelle simply was not Jackie Kennedy no matter how hard they tried to build her image to that level. Really was not fair to her and everyone saw through the media lie.

Hillary was an ugly skank bitch and why Bill porked an overweight and young staffer. Reps did not fault him for that, no one really did, many had a problem with the lie. All Bill had to say was none of your business. Hillary did not care because she had political ambitions and probably knew she was an ugly bad lay and perhaps started batting for the other team.

Jill Biden? Everyone knew she was one of many running the show. Nothing about her particularly spectacular or special. Will never forget her talking to Joe like a first grader for how well he answered the questions after the failed first debate with Trump in that restaurant. So desperately wanted to hang on to power. Embarrassing.

Melania as a First Lady is the closest anyone has been to Jackie. She has stunning beauty and she can make anything she wears look runway ready. She is intelligent as evidenced by the languages she speaks. She does not say much, but when she speaks it is meaningful.

The lib legacy media seems to be the one caught up in the First Lady stuff.

The Jackie’s and Melania’s do not come
