Well, that's the fault of the Republicans. Biden has been fightin' like hell to completely close the border but those damn Republicans are poking around in his corruption instead.
This is what sucks. The consulting firm I used to work for brings over a lot of Indians to work in the US. They get a work visa. At some point they have to renew the visa. To do so, they have to fly back to India. Meet with the consulate in person, file the forms, and wait in India for weeks, sometimes months, before getting the approval.
Also, for some, once their visa is up, they can be told “sorry, go back to India for a year, then reapply.”
All this costs thousands of dollars. It’s a fvcking racket. And these are degreed, highly skilled individuals with jobs. They have families with good kids. These are the people we want in the US.
One example, a guy named Ekvinder. Married. Three kids. One kid is the best chess player in the state in 5th grade. Ekvinder is a genius. He is kind and respectful. His clients love him. What does the US do? They tell him each shit and get the **** out. And then they let uneducated manual labor, unskilled, drug dealers, terrorists, kids, etc, into this country for free every day. And it costs us money.
