More caving expected from the Caver in Chief

Isn’t it amazing how politicians can spin a humiliating concession into a pretend victory? I mean they all do it, but DJT has to be the master at it. Before this thread is ended someone (my money is on Bearcat) will have echoed the spin in the article by insisting this has always been the plan, that Trump is playing 10th degree chess and is outmaneuvering all the bastards that have been taking advantage of us.

oh-no.gif

And right on cue, there's Xi Jinping's little bitch defending China to the very end.
That has to be it. Making fun of DJT can only mean one thing: I’m an anti-Semitic little bitch for China. There can be no other explanation.

Okay, fellas, I’ve started a handful of threads to get you going for the day. If that hasn’t raised your blood pressure to boiling point let me know and I’ll start some more. When it comes to ridiculing your political god the supply is limitless.

I just heard over the airport terminal PA system that Dan is departing for awhile.

My guess is he has to go fix one of his Chinese central vacuum systems.

Lifetime warranty, Baby, lifetime warranty! It’s usually 25 years or longer before anything needs fixing.

And right on cue here’s our man defending his leader to the very end.
And right on cue, you jumped into the thread to white knight for your sock account.

If I want $300,000 for my house, list it at $350,000, and then sell it for $320,000, I’ve “caved” in the minds (using that term generously) of you people.

You people know nothing about negotiations, which is probably why your vendors are able to have their way with you.

Dude, you nailed it!

You know, I hadn’t thought of it like that. No one in history has ever thought of that before. Donald Trump is the first. No wonder he wins every negotiation in which he’s involved. Except for his 6 bankruptcies he’s been perfect.

Which is why your over the top accusations of "Trump caving" is ridiculous. You always ask for more than you want, just in case you get it, while understanding you will probably get less.
I do this damn near everyday with contractors. They ask for top dollar, I counter with below bottom dollar and we eventually meet much closer to my number than theirs. Had a job quote yesterday where the contractor quoted $20K, I countered with $7500, we ended up at $9500.

It comes at no surprise that you can’t see Trump capitulating. He’s your business mentor. I don’t know what kind of contractor to which you refer. But I’ll tell you in advance to be prepared to get $9500 worth of quality. A contractor can’t stay a contractor for long if he accepts a lowball offer without cutting corners.

Speaketh the mogul that studied at the feet of that famous deal maker, Billy Sol Estes. The scourge of Texas.

When you know what the contractor knows it's not hard Dan. I knew what the job would cost before he bid it but I don't blame him for making sure I wasn't an idiot.

Don't fret HamasDan aka boywonder, Amazon is going to show Tariff Prices on its Chiney made products you order on there so you can choose more wisely. 🤣

Indeed. She thinks very highly of Amazon.
Figures. Wait till she notices the Tariff price on the itens she buys. Dollars to donuts she won't get as hysterical as you do about Tariffs. She will rise above it unlike you and will shop around.

She won’t get hysterical? Are you nuts? She’s a woman. (You must not be married.)

If billionaire Bezos really wanted to help his consumers he would add filters to remove products shipping direct from China and imported from China.

I’ve wanted this for 10 years so I don’t spend hours combing through cheap copy cat crap

Interesting article. I have a couple of comments. First, the fiscal deficit is not the same thing as the trade deficit. Second, change the wording from lowering the fiscal deficit “is contingent on higher tariff revenues” to “is contingent on higher taxes on Americans buying imported products.” Because “tariffs” is another word for “taxes.” So what the article means to say is our government is going to lower its fiscal deficit by raising taxes. Third, when the tariffs work their magic and inports are seriously curtailed as Trump predicts, that will lower the “contingency.” Maybe a better way to lower the fiscal deficit is to cut spending. Trump suggested they cut the military budget in half and the Republicans responded by introducing its first trillion dollar military budget. Food for thought.

[P-DAN], please stop your navel gazing. The US is the largest consumer/economic engine in the world. Countries can bluster/bluff, recruit doofs like you, but they will not give up the opportunity to tap into the US market. They have been titty fed for the last 8-years or so and now the teat is dry. It is a bit of a face saving process for some of them but they will come around because your nemesis, Trump, understands & excels at negotiations. Especially when he is negotiating for his country.

Your blubbering & braying is somewhat humorous and makes it worthwhile to be a sane poster on this board, but nothing more. You add nothing except hanging curve balls to old guys that can still hit those pumpkins into the second deck.

Now get back to the bull pen & "tuck up those pajamas".

Another comment from you that is without merit, without substance and isn’t even about the topic of the thread. I swear if this is the way you conduct your seminars I don’t know if Holiday Inn has a conference room small enough for you to rent for the day. You might want to scope out a park with a bench that holds two or three people and you could stand in front of them and dispense your wisdom.

Dan, if I ever consulted with you in a business environment, if you could afford it, you would need a Wharton grad to explain what I counseled you about. As I mentioned before I didn't/don't do seminars, I consult directly with C-level execs. You've never been one so you get a pass on the nomenclature. I gave you some valuable information for free yet you don't heed it simply because you don't have the faculties to understand it.

I cannot say you suck at negotiations anymore. To accuse you of that would be to presume that you had the talent to begin with. You excel in braying at the Israeli moon & attempting to belittle intelects far superior to yours, (fairdinkem not included), in a manner that makes it kind of like getting to go the state fair every month.

BTW, did you ever google the nom fairdinkem? Lastly, and again, why do you continue to use MAGA as a noun?

I bet you’re giving your pathetic little seminars in little Holiday Inn conference rooms as you can afford them. You have bragged about your incredible negotiating knowledge but I doubt you’ve ever negotiated anything in your life. Those that can, do. Those that can’t, teach. That about sums you up.
