Mexican Election

From the above article.

“Yes, I care about illegal immigrant children. But, not at the exclusion of my own children. Facts do matter. According to Maryann Mendoza, founder of Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime, who lost her son to an illegal who hit him in a head-on collision, roughly 4,300 American citizens are killed by illegal immigrants every year. This matters to me. And newly released data from the Department of Homeland Security shows that 13 percent of DACA recipients have previous arrests, while roughly 55 percent of all approved DACA requestors had more than one arrest.”

Think of the toll with many more millions stampeding over the border.
I agree. We can't save everyone.

I hold out hope yet for Mexico. An old friend of mine is deep in the Mexico tech scene and shared this article he recently authored:

http://www.brinknews.com/the-latin-american-investment-opportunity/

He makes the point that a mixture of creativity, necessity, and government investment can help lift the tech industry in Mexico. Of course he is in the middle of a raise so he is selling it hard.

Wow, landslide?!

I actually think is great news for the MAGA movement.

The fewer globalist establishment politicians, the better. Like we’re seeing with the new Italian PM.

Of course there are risks too — socialism always fails.

We Americans should find the possibilities for the future of Latin America to be very exciting. The more prosperous our neighbors become the more prosperous it makes us. I hope the newly elected leader doesn’t screw it up.

At the end of the day, when it's the end of the day, and we all know it's the end of the day, do you really believe this horseshit will even scratch the dog's ass when it comes fixing the unfixable in that shithole country? Gawd!!

I agree the future looks bleak. This article holds out a glimmer of hope that a generation of entrepreneurship will emerge. That would go a long way toward “fixing the unfixable.” I hope the election of a socialist doesn’t put that spirit to rest. That’s actually something we Americans can do: keep that spirit alive. Encourage it with everything we’ve got.

If I were president I'd send the US army to the border to defend it from foreign invasion. Anyone with out proper US issued paperwork is 'repelled'. No more asylum seekers. period.

I would never bet against Marcus. He is a true entrepreneur, second generation Mexican immigrant - his family escaped Poland in the 60s... I have tried to hire him a couple of times and he is just not interested in leaving Mexico City.

Warning: two glasses of pinot with dinner.

Yeah. I do. Call me a hopeless optimist, but I believe we have an unbelievable prosperity on the horizon that will raise all boats. That is if we don't **** it all up and start a new dark ages.

Hahaha elect a socialist government and lose a shot at the World Cup finals within 24 hours! Harbinger of things to come?
