If proven an allegation is knowingly false in an attempt to harm someone, I believe the penalty should be equivalent to the possible penalty that the alleged faced.

In my opinion, making false allegations of sexual misconduct is actually worse than the sexual misconduct. Not only is it trying to ruin someone’s life but it harms everyone that is a true victim of sexual misconduct.
