(I did vote for Trump and likely will again, considering the kind it people the Dems are going to run.)
Correct....basically I pointed out that you were asking a completely irrelevant question when it comes to the propriety of the investigation of the conduct in it by tying those to together.
No, I was pointing out that what was previously stated by another poster was completely irrelevant vis-a-vis the propriety of the investigation.
Fyi some Republicans went to GPS and asked for some opposition research to be done. More the Steele was NOT involved in this opposition research .... This was not the dossier.... The Republicans backed off then the Democrats got involved with gps. Steele was brought in to do their research and he came up with the dossier by talking to Russians who were trying to manipulate the outcome of the election in Hillary's favor.
There is virtually nothing I can come up with that would garner any respect from me for this person. Normally military service puts a person at or very near the top of my respect list.....but McCain got so much favorable treatment it’s not unreasonable to assume if his daddy hadn’t have been an admiral, he wouldn’t have even been over NVietnam to be shot down, much less a navel aviator.
Tack on his no vote for the Obysmal care repeal and he falls into the loathsome catagory! His book and willingness to speak out now demonstrate he is a spineless opportunist.
I’ve always summarized that the reason he is so against torturing, is not because it’s wrong in his eyes (personally I’ve got no issues with it if the target is assumed to have information, that divulged could save life’s) but because he broke and exposed other captured personnel. Outside his district and lots of favorable press, he sees the exposure of his betrayals as the reason he was never the President, something which people like him never forget, ironically.
