I could get behind the 60 vote threshold and the elimination of the CR process. Not sure how we get that enshrined into Congress with as divided as this country is.

Its going to take the party that is in charge creating the legislation that puts the guardrails on themselves, which unfortunately, isn't going to happen. Just like term limits or stock trading. Congressmen (and women) in power are disinclined to fence themselves.

Its going to take the party that is in charge creating the legislation that puts the guardrails on themselves, which unfortunately, isn't going to happen. Just like term limits or stock trading. Congressmen (and women) in power are disinclined to fence themselves.

It's going to take the people coming together to force Congress to do their damn job the way it was envisioned by the Founders. Sadly most of this country has no idea how the founders envisioned how our government should be run. Leftist in our public education made sure of that.
