This game is looking tougher than it did several months ago. As of now Marquette is Kenpom #28, and we're #36. Their best scorer so far is a 6'11" top-40 freshman who's hitting threes well, so we'll need some length to cover him at all times. Thankfully there won't be fans in the stands, but we'll need to keep our energy up.
I still think we have a good shot, knowing Boynton's early season history. Our aggressive defense has really frustrated early non-con opponents and flipped the games in our favor, like Syracuse and Ole Miss last year, Memphis and LSU the year before, Florida State the year before that.
