1A) Federal Government Buy-Back Program

1) Universal background checks for all gun sales.

2) Bump stock sale: felony.

3) Semi-automatic rifle sale: felony.

4) Sales of bullet magazines holding more than 12 bullets: felony.

5) Sale of guns over 22-caliber sold to anyone under 21: felony.

6) Sales of ammunition over 22-caliber sold to anyone under 21: felony.

7) A “User’s Permit” like a Driver’s License required for gun users.

It is not nor would it ever be a crime to possess any weapon already owned.

You just could no longer SELL AR-15s.

If you’re a retailer with huge inventory of semi -automatic rifles—federal government would buy them at FMV.

Two things:

1) Would that have the same result as drug laws, they’d be available in every black market street corner in every major city?

2) ironic that a gun store owner would have to buy the guns to place in inventory. Then he would have to pay taxes to the federal government that would use his money to buy back his inventory. Would FMV be just what he paid, or would it include his anticipated profit when he bought them?

1) Universal background checks for all gun sales.

Ok

2) Bump stock sale: felony.

Ok

3) Semi-automatic rifle sale: felony.

Hell no

4) Sales of bullet magazines holding more than 12 bullets: felony.

How about 30, at least 20

5) Sale of guns over 22-caliber sold to anyone under 21: felony.

Ok, unless in the military

6) Sales of ammunition over 22-caliber sold to anyone under 21: felony.

Ok, unless in the military

7) A “User’s Permit” like a Driver’s License required for gun users.

All this will do is make mass shooters more efficient when they lose their shit

8) Liability Insurance as for vehicles required for gun operation.

Why?

And let’s add

9) voting age moved to 21, unless in the military.

why wouldn’t you be able to sell a civillian grade rifle that has been around since school shootings were virtually non existent in the 1950’s?

fmv would be pretty low with no legal demand for the supply. robbery as well as a violation of Constitutionally enumerated rights.

10). I mostly agree with your answers, but would add a national voter id law to the list.

Are you saying that selling ANY semi-automatic rifle would be a felony? What about a hand gun or a shot gun?

My Remington semi-auto 22 would be a felony? Screw you.

It is lists like that that cause people to toe such a hard line because we know it won't be effective and the next time you'll come for more.

if they eliminate all semi automatics, regardless of the use, then many hunting rifles and shotguns would be illegal. I don't see that being possible politically.

artificially setting something like a caliber limit will be gamed. A good engineer could develop a .195 bullet that would do as much (or more) damage as a .22 or .223. It is about the violence once inside the body. I would rather be shot by my 300 ultra mag than a .223. At least the 300 ultra mag has a good chance of going all the way through me instead of tumbling inside me and doing maximum damage. the .22 limit will be gamed.

I agree with the idea that a 21 age limit would be excepted for anyone in the military. While you're at it, let's make every one of these kids do mandatory 2 years of service. That would be the irony of all ironies, Kids rise up to make change.....and the change it forces is them leaving mommy for Ft. Sill Lawton America

17 year old dropping F bombs in a hate speech tone that reaches millions? Yeah, that gets your point across. What a tool.

Why don't you talk about treating classmates with respect and not bullying them into violence and suicide? No, it's just those damn guns..

These ****wads are now pissed they have to use clear backpacks, one even commented that they shouldn’t have to do this because they didn’t do anything wrong.

**** them.
So, law abiding citizens with semi-automatic weapons should turn their's in? They didn't do anything wrong.

I think this just shows that the media used these young people. David Hogg was paraded around from one liberal talk show to another. I think that this one massively stupid reply he made officially started the clock on his last 15 minutes of fame. Funny how he says clear backpacks violate his 1st amendment rights without catching the hypocrisy that many in the MOFL movement are calling to infringe on the 2nd amendment.

I get it. You're drunk. You're a viking. To the rest of the universe this is self evident. Market friendly. Good idea.
It’s probably $10 a year when bundled with your homeowners insurance.

I find it funny that the rights that these kids are fighting so hard to have taken away (this won’t stop with the 2nd) are the very reason we have so many coming illegally. Heck maybe they have discovered the illegal problem. Do away with Constitution and won’t have to worry about people coming at all.

Please can we give these so called enlightened kids a history lesson because it looks like they were never told why the Bill of Rights was written in the first place.
