Manafort

Why no rage against him? I've never seen a more ridiculous double standard.

But the very first sentence in your article is good for a chuckle:

"For 18 months, Republican strategists, political pundits, reporters and Americans who follow them have been pursuing Hillary Clinton’s personal email habits, and no evidence of a crime has been found."

Lock him up. Lock her up. What's wrong with that (besides probably not being the answer you expected)?

That hasn't been the narrative on this board. Or mentioned in the last few years for that matter.

Probably just wedding plans and yoga routines...

But noted that piss poor behavior by Republicans is a valid excuse for piss poor behavior by Democrats. Go Team!

There have been about 22,000,000 mentions of her missing emails on this board and nothing about a strangely similar if not worse abuse. She does it and these people go crazy and lead chants. Dumbya does it and.....

And pointing that out makes me partisan.

Who would trust these people with anything important when they're thinking is so emotional? No intellectual honesty at all, or even pretense of it? Team Team Team.

I am a freaking Nostradamus.

Predicted it and you fulfilled it.

Thanks!

Psst....your bias is hanging out for everyone to see....like a trail of toilet paper stuck to the heel of your shoe.
it's not as long as yours however...you are leading the league!! And it's not bias...I don't care repub or dem...just a bunch of horseshit going on. It's a joke.

nobody right if everybody wrong....name that tune!

I'm hearing a lot of piss poor behavior by Hillary as an excuse for not investigating Trump.

Not from you per se, but I see it here pretty much every single day.

I doubt Paul Manafort was illegally handling top secret government information.

But you're right totally comparable situation.

Bush left office in 2009. I wasn't reading or posting here back then so naturally I wouldn't have posted about it. Bush also didn't just run for President in 2016. The missing Bush White House emails are reported to have been recovered. No destruction of equipment or data.

Where are we on Hillary's missing emails that she acknowledged she deleted and wiped with like a cloth or something? New ones that she purposefully failed to turn over keep popping up. Nothing about yoga or weddings yet.

Is "but Bush" really still in play after all these years? You're already whining about "but Obama" 7 months after he left office, so just curious what your personal statute of limitations are.

Not from me at all. I'm pretty simple on the issue. I expect the same level of accountability from the upper echelons of our government as I do from the soldier who is in basic training.

I've got zero interest in the day to day ramblings of the Trump investigation. When some officially released evidence and/or findings come to light, I'll tune in to see what's up.

You're right Medic, I only speed read through Syster's posts otherwise I get a headache.

If GW did the same has Hilldog lock his ass up too. I supported him over the Democrat but he turned out to be sorry President who got this country involved in a disaster in the middle east and did nothing to help with NK.

I've never been a Bush 2.0 fan. I voted for Gore and Kerry. But I also didn't pay much attention to politics back then because I had a young family to occupy my time during his disaster, er, Presidency.

I never heard anything about it until you first brought it up and I think that was maybe a year or so ago. I didn't read up on it at the time. But you linked that article so I read it. Might not be a good comparison, though. If the missing emails were "mislabeled" and have been recovered, then the significance of this diminishes, IMO.

Serious question: Why do you think the Obama DOJ failed to do anything about this? Seems to me they let a golden opportunity slip away (unless they recovered them and found nothing of importance).

Thoughts?

Obama's biggest failure, imo.

They were pressured to do something about it constantly from the left. Obama refused. That's just not him -- he's statesmanlike, diplomatic, works together, etc. I personally would've had a war crimes commission chasing Bush and Cheney until they were publicly hanged. Deliberately deceiving the country to establish casus belli is the ultimate malfeasance from a U.S. president and he should've been investigated.
