Making Goose Jerky

Taking a chance and seeing if I can make some goose jerky. If it works this also will be great for duck.

I never made goose jerky. We used to make duck jerky almost every year. Good stuff. Can’t imagine goose would be bad.

Good to hear, the recipe I used is for goose or duck and if I like it I will do some duck next year.

Going to try this today. It looks good or right, I should say. The breast meat makes great strips for the smoker and you get a nice breast off a goose.

Well it’s great got more of a richer mineral flavor.

Goose jerky is solid and we make it from Canadians every year.

Now snow geese are a different story.

Yep was a Canadian. I was told we don’t get snow geese this far south but I have no clue. It was nuts how much jerky two breast made.
