A harshly critical left wing analysis of Trump administration immigration policy that brings the receipts. The last paragraph says it all.

Dailykos? Are you going to start posting clips from The View next?

By the way, how's your Hezbollah boyz?
It occurs to me you MAGAs only know your perceived enemies by what your MAGA overlords tell you about them. It may be better for you to listen to what the lefties have to say before you dismiss them out of ignorance. Your MAGA overlords are feeding you a special diet of constant MAGA wins, and you are devouring it like you’re starving. There’s a very good chance that 2026 will come as a shattering earthquake-style shock if you don’t know the truth about what most people think of your Dear Leader.

Geezus, Ponca Duped. You're as obsessed with Trump and Jews as the men can get pregnant crowd is.

I noticed you Dodged my question about Hezbollah as usual. I'm guessing you figured out how stupid you looked simping for the incompetent terrorists.

DACO Dan is a Kos-Kiddie!!!!! Who woulda thunk it?

That aside, why should we feel sorry for farmers who are employing illegal aliens? What if the DEA had rounded up all of their workers in a drug bust? Would you be lending legitimacy to their gripes then too? (I don’t expect Dan to answer that last question, seeing as how Dan Always Chickens Out).

Regretting their vote or regretting not following the law? Farmers and other employers have a legal means of employing migrant labor but because the government has turned a blind eye to those illegally entering the country they now feel entitled to nor following the law?

Farmers in the US can utilize the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Program to legally employ foreign-born workers for seasonal agricultural labor, according to the Economic Research Service (ERS). This program allows farmers to hire these workers for up to 10 months, providing a legal means to address labor shortages, according to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). The H-2A program is a crucial way for farmers to access a reliable and legal workforce for their agricultural operations, according to the Cato Institute

I don’y dodge your Hezbollah question, Medic. I ignore it because it never concerns the subject of the thread when you bring it up. But this one time let me address it. Hezbollah absolutely kicked the IDF’s fanny when it invaded Lebanon. The IDF was stopped cold in spite of its overwhelming technological advantage. The IDF has never conquered Hezbollah, it does not (and did not) have the capability to do it on its own. Hezbollah was defeated (possibly temporarily) because the USA bribed Turkey and ISIS to attack Syria from every direction in conjunction with the IDF, thus cutting off the military supply route between Hezbollah and Iran. I imagine they are working tirelessly to find an alternative route as we speak, and if they find one the conflict will start right back up. The IDF has never been strong enough to defeat anyone by its own merits, not even poor hapless Hamas.

Oh my. Now I see why you Dodged the question for so long.

They are regretting their vote because Trump told them he would go after the violent criminal illegal immigrants, the gang members, drug dealers, sex traffickers, etc. not the ones looking for work. As he always does he overpromised the numbers he would send back, discovered it was harder to do than he thought and so went after the low hanging fruit, the easy ones to catch. Scoff at the farmers who mistakenly bought into his rhetoric all you want. That doesn’t change the fact they are regretting their vote and are telling themselves they won’t make the same mistake in 2026.

That’s great advice for leftists and if there were any on this board I would offer it to them. You are making an error in thinking I’m a leftist. When I agree with you 100% on your opinion of Joe Biden and his disastrous administration does that make me a MAGA?

Trump is going after violent criminal illegals and just as the Democrats were told, If they continued non cooperation with ICE many non violent/criminal illegals would gat caught up and deported. Entering our country illegal is guess what? Illegal.
Democrats were very outspoken with their "no one is above the law" BS when it was them going after Trump on BS charges but all of a sudden we see Democrats really think there are numerous people above the law, them and all the illegals.

Oh by the way, hiring illegals is guess what? Illegal.

You’re trying too hard to spin the MAGA narrative to justify Trump’s betrayal of the farmers. It will
be interesting to see if the farmers who are stuck with a labor shortage will let him get away with it again in 2026. Who knows, they might. As the article says in its closing Trump is a world class manipulator to get people to act against their own interests.

You are trying to hard to criticize Trump. It's real simple Dan, is it illegal to enter our country without express permission? Is it illegal to hire people not in this country legally? Is "No One Above The Law" or do we have carve outs for certain groups?

It takes no effort to criticize the actions of Donald Trump, much less a need to try too hard. The man is a walking talking cluster bomb, a megalomaniacal narcissist whose sanity is slipping right in front of us. Stop trying to twist the thread into something it is not. This thread is about farmers feeling betrayed by a compulsive liar and deciding not to get betrayed in 2026, whatever the reason is. The MAGA faithful have so inoculated themselves from hearing anything negative about their Dear Leader they actually believe the constant drone of “ we’re winning.” Consider me an early warning sign that it is not the rosy picture you think it is, so don’t be shocked by the results of the next election.

Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do with illegal aliens. How is that betrayal?

That is not an answer to my question. How is it betrayal for Trump to do exactly what he said he was going to do? You’re chickening out yet again, DACO Dan.
You’ll find the answer you’re looking for in the link. Once you’ve read it we can discuss if you are still perplexed.

I read it. Not seeing the betrayal. All I see is enforcing the law against illegal aliens. DACO Dan still chickening out.
“Trump sold his immigrant removal by promising to focus on violent criminals.” That’s the promise the farmers believed. But once TACO realized how much harder that was going to be his administration turned its attention on the ones easy to prey on, migrant farm workers. The farmers hire the migrants because there is no local help to hire, as the article makes clear. They feel betrayed and are angry at the unnecessary hardship he has put on them. You may not understand the anger, the feeling of betrayal, but they do. And they will show their anger in the next election. There. I hope that helps. (And I don’t believe for a minute you read the link. You’d have triggered into terror when the author called him TACO.)

I don’t recall Trump making that promise. So far, he’s kept every promise that he’s made to me. Regardless, he did focus on the hardened criminals. Now he’s focusing on the petty criminals. So what’s the problem?

The angry farmers recall very well him making that promise. His focus on violent criminals didn’t last very long. So far he’s broken more promises he made to you than he kept. Your refusal to admit it is evidence of the cultish nature of your love for him.

See, this is where you go into arrogant (dumb)ass mode. You presume to know what’s in my best interest, what’s important to me, what I should think/feel, etc. You’re a know-it-all, and like all other know-it-alls, you don’t know jack shit. Stick to floor brushing.

🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

Here’s a little something to help you sleep tonight, SiL, knowing Trump is protecting you from violent criminals. Sleep well! I know you will!

What do you find so objectionable about an illegal alien being arrested?

ETA: Slept like a baby last night. Glad to see our immigration and foreign travel laws are actually being enforced.
