Lindsey Graham shoots down all 5 accusers

I mean, who would believe 332 girls could be assaulted by an oncologist and not report it? Right?
Yeah, this is the exact same as that. Exactly the same. Good catch.

PS, he wasn't an oncologist...

Hard to argue with that.

Actually, it is very easy to argue with and dismiss.

Graham should be ashamed of himself and his hypocrisy. This is the same man who has called for formal investigations into numerous allegations when those allegations are directed at Democrats. Yet, here, no call for an investigation. No desire here to seek evidence and arrive at the truth. Just a recitation of talking points by Graham.

What I found most interesting was when Graham was asked how he would approach this as a prosecutor. Notice how Graham never answered that question? Instead, he deflected to how he would approach this as a judge. He did this because he knows as a prosecutor, with all these allegations, he would demand a formal investigation! That is what prosecutors do.

He then talks about how a judge would look at the evidence regarding all of this. Yes judges (and prosecutors) would look at the evidence, but how are we suppose to gather evidence when Graham and other Republicans refuse to support an investigation? That is the point of an investigation, to gather evidence! No judge in her right mind would draw any conclusions about these accusations right now. They would demand further investigation. Also, a judge wouldn't attack NBC and the press (for doing its job) in an attempt to deflect.

All of this demands a fomal investigation. An investigation that Graham is usually the first to damand when it concerns a Democrat. Yet, Graham and most Republican Senators are showing their hypocrisy. They don't want to investigate this because they are worried what may turn up. They also are more concerned with rushing through a Supreme Court nominee than actually doing their jobs of fair oversight.

The FBI received the letter from Feinstein and did their job. What additional investigation do you think can be done for an allegation that has no corroboration and not even a place or time that it allegedly occurred? It's too bad that Feinstein held onto Ford's accusation for 6 weeks. There was plenty of time to do further "investigation." Political stunts often backfire.

The FBI has not been asked to conduct a full investigation of this matter. And that is what needs to be done.

If this was a Democrat, every Republican Senator would be demanding a formal investigation. You would too medic. Look at all the investigations Republicans have demanded and supported. Look at all the ones you get obsessed over lol!

Hypocrisy on full display.

JFC you libs are lame. You gobble up the dem talking points and run and shout them out at everyone.

As Graham said in the video, he and Sen. Whitehouse followed Senate protocols in handing the boat allegations. They contacted the FBI which led to those allegations falling apart rapidly.

Feinstein, on the other hand, ignored Senate protocols by sitting on the letter from Ford for a couple of months. Had Feinstein done as Graham and Whitehouse did the country wouldn't be in this dog and pony show. Of course, Feinstein's goal was not to seek out the truth, but, rather to deny Kavanaugh's appointment to the SCOTUS through whatever means necessary including wallowing in the sewer with the likes of porn lawyer Avenatti.

What exactly does "full investigation" mean? What is it that you think the FBI will/can do?

Any of these accusers can go to the Montgomery County authorities and file a complaint. That is where the jurisdiction lies and there is no statute of limitations in Maryland for sexual assaults. Of course, by filing a formal complaint they open themselves up to perjury and filing false police reports. There are reasons those complaints haven't been filed.

Right? And who could believe the entirety of Duke University could wrongly “convict” their entire lacrosse team and believe made up stories of sexual assault. And who could believe the entire nation and a bastion of hard hitting investigative journalism like The Rolling Stone could be fooled by false rape culture stories about a Univ of Virginia fraternity?

which makes this an assault on democracy

libtards can’t get far enough past their emotional vagina wailing to see two moves down the road

or even consider what they’ve done
Nothing new for Feinstein. Remember she employed a Chinese spy as a driver for 20 years without any knowledge. Then there is Blumenthal who lied about being a soldier in Vietnam. Or, the Delaware Senator who is an acknowledged wife beater. Don't forget about Booker who is an admitted groper. Such an impeccable cast of characters sitting in judgement of Kavanaugh much less anyone else.

I’ll help him out on this one.

A “full investigation” means every time the investigation is complete and a vote is scheduled, the Dems will trot out yet another purported victim, which will then require another “full investigation”. New victims will be “discovered” and the vote to confirm will be delayed to infinity and beyond. By the time infinity arrives, Kavanaugh will withdraw or the Democrats will have retaken the Senate.

The FBI is merely a pawn in this process. Unless, of course, you get a Lisa Page or Peter Strzyk to give extra help.

I read that this would actually be a misdemeanor, that would carry no jail time. That does have a statute of limitations in Maryland. No investigator/DA in his right mind would touch this. These claims are not "credible". This is all about delay. This delay would make it where their members from red states don't have to vote on the nomination. They also believe there wouldn't be enough time to go through this process during a lame duck session. They're also hoping to get the Senate back. If all of this wasn't about delay, then Feinstein would have released the letter back in July.

these libtard nuts fancy themselves as warriors and they need to be dealt with just like trump did in his press conference

The Senate Judicial Committee could immediately request an FBI investigation. The investigation would involve tracking down potential witnesses and creating a timeline. The FBI would also be tasked with tracking down all or new leads and providing to the Committee its assessment of the accusations. The FBI could also investigate any political conspiracy connections. Such an investigation would also have the power of the FBI behind it, meaning witnesses would be held accountable if they lied to FBI investigators.

There is absolutely no reason, apart from partisan politics, not to have such an investigation occur.

No, it is the same thing you and others on the right called for everytime there was an accusation made against the Clinton's, or Obama, or any other Democrat.

Now, all of a sudden, you have no use for a full investigation? Like I posted, hypocrisy.

Why do you need the FBI? The witnesses she has named have basically said she is full of shit.

Why do you need the FBI?

Because the FBI will conduct a fair investigation for the Committee and it is equipped to do so. We should want to know the truth here and look at what evidence can be gathered.

And I would think Kavanaugh would want this if he is telling the truth. If he didn't do anything, the FBI could easily clear him or conclude the accusations are not trustworthy.

Why are Republicans so opposed to such an investigation? Simply because of partisan reasons. Again, if this was a Democrat, what would Republicans and yourself be calling for?

The only reason an investigation hasn't occurred is partisan politics.

Perhaps. Or perhaps not.

Regardless, that is now irrelevant. There should be a full and fair investigation.
It is not irrelevant. It proves that Feinstein is heartless liar, and only used this to stall the nomination. It throws into doubt everything. They want a complete investigation only to push this past the midterms and hopefully stop it. That's their goal. They don't care about any of these women. If the events were exactly the same but roles were reversed, I would still think the same way and call the Republicans out.

No it doesn't. I am not talking about Feinstein. I am talking about the need for an investigation. You are deflecting to Feinstein because you want to make this about politics and not about seeking the truth.

Now you are repeating partisian talking points.

This is what you want to believe but you don't know if it is true. It could be the complete opposite.

How would we know though? An investigation!

There isn’t a need for an FBI investigation. The entire thing is a sham designed to stall the nomination past the mid term electio; nothing else.

If Feinstein or anyone else thought there was anything tonthese aljegstions they’d have brought them forward weeks ago. They didn’t because they knew the allegations wouldn’t stand up to closer scrutiny and investigation. So they pulled the same old crap from the same old playbook.

While Ford’s claims specifically tied to her incident wouldn’t have necessarily surfaced, many of their things she and others have claimed about Kavanaugh and the milieu he was part of at that time would’ve definite come to light in previous multiple FBI background checks and have been forcefully denied by multiple men and women.

Oh horse shit.

Do you have any issue with the delay/stalling tactics employed by Democrats so far? Don’t you agree that the more this process is delayed the greater benefit is gained by the Democrats?
