You want me to give my opinion of every piece of Nazi memorabilia in existence and every war souvenir that was brought home by a WW2 vet?
IN GENERAL.... the swastika, the SS symbol, the iron cross, etc are all symbols of the Nazi regime. You know, the people who systematically committed genocide and murdered 12 million innocent people. We aren't talking rocket science here.
Don't like it, don't buy it or look at it but don't tell others they have no right to do so. Pretty simple really.

Question, do you ever come across human remains war trophy collections in the hobby? It was a real issue in the Pacific Theater, enough for the brass to order soldiers to stop doing it. You didn't see it in the European Theater. Wondering if that stuff is still part of the hobby and what it goes for.

Thanks! Everything they made especially early on was quality, I am half German so that is part of why I collect. Most Americans do not realize how much technology was taken from the Germans that is still in use today yet they have no problem with using it but a Helmet or Dagger renders them full on tard. Ever heard of Wernher von Braun? Think of him the next time you use the Internet, GPS, Satellite TV etc.
I have other things not just German, I only showed a few things.
No most collectors frown upon such things but the Russians regularly dig them up in Russia and sell things from graves. They are not the only guilty ones, Civil War battle sites have been robbed of items in graves for years although I don't know if it is as rampant as it once was.

Not all German soldiers were Nazis
This has to be the most common misconception people have about the German army – that they were all Nazis. Saying that every German soldier was a Nazi is like saying that every current serving Australian soldier is a Liberal. The German army had roots in strong Prussian tradition, and part of this tradition was that every soldier was to reject any political ties. In the Wehrmacht (the German army), it was illegal for any soldier to be affiliated with, or a member of, a political party, including the Nazi party. People, of course, argue against this with, ‘the German uniform has a Swastika on it’, and this is true. However, people often forget or ignore that the Swastika was the official flag of Germany at the time. It is also worth mentioning that between 1933 and 1945 there were more than 25 assassination attempts on Adolf Hitler’s life, with nearly all the attempts made by German army, and even SS, officers.

Hitler and the Nazi party were clearly nationalistic to an extreme. I'm betting that a lot of young German boys/men felt compelled to join the armed forces or be labeled as unpatriotic traitors.
It is also very likely that MANY of them were unaware of Hitler's plan to exterminate innocent civilians, and thought that Hitler (and the Nazis) were all focused on putting a stop to attacks on Germany by the rest of the European world powers.
