Let's see if this gets any traction.

Personally, the article reads like an opinion piece of "look at me, I have all the answers." I didn't find anything particularly insightful or new.

Basically he says that the poor are being spoon fed lies by the media/politicians and they go vote based on the false info. This applies to both urban poor and country poor.

It happened with Obama. It happened with Trump.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, but dumb breeds dumb. And dumb poor people will have a hard time, if not impossible time, climbing out of the hole into which they were born. Those born rich but dumb are coddled and protected while they have money.

As far as those suffering from addictions, I have little sympathy for them as I would guess that the majority are a result of weak minded fools giving into some form of peer pressure at some point in time in their lives. This includes, drug users, alcoholics and even smokers.

The director on the left has been accused of sexually harassing potentially 200+ women (see two posts above) --- and is being kissed by the left's favorite anti-Trump celebrity.

Can we at least admit our entertainment industry may have a serious problem?

I can admit that anybody in the entertainment industry that continues to support a sexual predator or fails to disavow or call out a sexual harassment or predation has a serious problem.

Of course, I believe ANYBODY that continues to support and not disavow a sexual predator/harasser has a serious problem...no matter what industry they are in.

Agreed?

$40M+ in settlements to at least six victims and counting.

Gawd, I'm confused; are we beating the red-headed stepchild or the rented mule? Meanwhile, back at Capistrano searching for the swallowers........

Seriously? You think 93% negative tone in articles about Trump is not evidence of bias? Shot even President Carter acknowledges the media is dogging Trump more than past presidents.
Does Trump create some of this .. no doubt. But to not be able to conclude media bias with facts such as an astounding 93% of media article are anti-Trump - then you have to be willfully blind.
Please point out where I said anything about bias - for the sake of discussion, let me posit the bias is exactly as you describe. So what? Does that explain away the boorish behavior? Does it somehow forgive the softness on white supremacists? Does the media force Trump to act like a petulant child?

What is the relevance?

This is clear proof that Baldwin promotes harassment of women.

I don't know if it is you, or your favorite web site, but you (they) are creating talking points from random pictures/quotes, then spamming your bullshit to the rest of us. It is propaganda. Pure and simple.

@NZ Poke you take the blue ribbon for rank hypocrisy, my friend. Entertainment industry. Here's a guy spouting your narrative constantly on TV and radio since forever and you say nothing. He got promoted.

Can we at least admit that the most prominent conservative opinion makers have a sexual predator problem? Ailes. O'Reilly. The Fox business guy. The Speaker of the House.

All sexual predators.

There are many on the right for sure.

And look who Newsweek just trotted out:

How about getting back on topic? Every time NZ posts something, you can almost guarantee that BJ, JD or sys will respond to it, instead of just ignoring it and keep on topic. If it is too hard to resist use the ignore feature.

He's a hack, who keeps doing the same shit. Why call us out and not him?

I'm not trying to call you out and didn't mean it to be offensive. It's just we'll have an interesting subject being discussed and it gets derailed by NZ and then all of the followup posts.

I just wish you could ignore him like I do and continue on with the discussion. I think everyone here is intelligent enough to see what he is doing and just press on. If you don't respond maybe, he'll stop the spamming and actually engage in the discussion when he realizes everyone on both sides is tired of all of the twitter/wikileaks/email spams.

I took him off ignore for 24 hours. Well, 24 hours was the goal.... I didn't achieve the goal.

syskatine is almost the same with his conthervatifths narratives, but at least he's entertaining.

I'm thinking mostly derision and dismissal will be the response.

I'm out.

It was about 10% worthwhile, which translates to this article being comparable to another of his lengthy articles dating back to ~March 2016...almost entirely a waste of time.

I disagree with greater than half of his reliances when making some assertion. Also disagree with almost all the assumptions from which he operates: 'here is what is' then builds from there.

His situational analysis reads as "Life according to Kevin." And while he speaks to "knowing better" the better you know the world, I find his conclusions AND the aforementioned assumptions from which he builds an enormous disservice to that which he is being critical of.

I consider him akin to a George Will in training. I still read his stuff when I run across it, because he does have an interesting perspective about a third of the time.

Yeah...call out the people pointing the individuals posting off topic spam instead of....you know...the dude posting the off topic spam.

That makes sense. o_O
