Coronavirus deaths in U.S. (as of 4/28): 59,266
New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts: 32,739
Rest of the U.S.: 26,527

Total cases in U.S. (as of 4/28): 1,035,765
New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts: 415,306
Rest of U.S.: 620,459

Coronavirus deaths by age group:
Approx. 80% of deaths are those people aged 65 or older

U.S. deaths from flu by year since 2014 (estimation by the CDC):
2014: as many as 50,000
2015: as many as 64,000
2016: as many as 37,000
2017: as many as 61,000
2018: as many as 95,000

U.S. Flu cases by year, since 2014 (numbers from the CDC):
2014: 30,000,000 cases
2015: 30,000,000 cases
2016: 24,000,000 cases
2017: 29,000,000 cases
2018: 45,000,000 cases

One other thing, when the media says that we have more deaths or cases from coronavirus than any other country, please taken into account that we are as large as the largest five European countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK) COMBINED.

Just sayin’

Absolute colossal mistake to keep the economy locked up. In the beginning because of BS models prudent thing was to try to prevent the spread. Has been pretty obvious for awhile now that the whole thing was an overreaction. Since most of these baboons can't admit they have made a mistake, they just keep digging in. The TORT lawyers have to be absolutely licking their chops now......nursing homes are going to get absolutely obliterated.

What’s the source? I want to share this on other platforms.

Here's some more numbers from yesterday courtesy of the CDC.

Death count has been cut almost in half from over 60,000 down to 37,308 as they are unable to justify every death as Wuhan Charlie caused. The peak was reached 3 weeks ago. Time to open everything up and get on with living.

Will the hospitals have to reimbursed the Feds for Wuhan virus payments received?

The CDC hasn't cut anything. Their data lags behind because of how they get their data.

NOTE: Number of deaths reported in this table are the total number of deaths received and coded as of the date of analysis and do not represent all deaths that occurred in that period. The United States population, based on 2018 postcensal estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, is 327,167,434.

*Data during this period are incomplete because of the lag in time between when the death occurred and when the death certificate is completed, submitted to NCHS and processed for reporting purposes. This delay can range from 1 week to 8 weeks or more, depending on the jurisdiction, age, and cause of death.
