Leftism and their Identity Marxism seems to be teetering on the precipice of collapse.
Let's noodle on a couple of possible scenarios and possible outcomes

Here is the question that Dems should be asking themselves. What else are they lying about? They have been shown what we have known and seen for longer than 4 years, and they just now got this piece of information. The media has been covering for Biden for years and they finally got to see what many on this board have been seeing for some time. Why is that? They should ask themselves that as well. The answer is we are not part of their echo chamber. Those podcasters that they poo pooed got it right and now they know that.

Dems. Either you knew Joe was as demented as was, and you willfully ignored the information for the purposes of power alone, at which case Democrats are not worthy of power during this election cycle. Or you didn't know Joe was as demented as he was and this is your welcome to reality, in which case Democrats are not worthy of power during this election cycle.

So which answer is it? Either way Dems have no business being anywhere close to power in the US.

They're lying about literally everything to themselves and each other.

Their "whole world" is crumbling - ideology, politics, which is their religion - collapsing, it's a catastrophe.

News flash! Biden has Dementia!

Their "whole world" is crumbling - ideology, politics, which is their religion - end of their world.
To be honest this needed to happen. We have been living in two distinct different Americas for some time. It was literally opposite worlds. Republicans better pay attention because if they are not dealing with reality, then they will have to go through the same awakening.

The leftist propaganda outlets, better known as the MSM, knew without question of Biden's mental decline. They sat in front of the cameras for years lying in the face of the American people. Each and everyone of those talking heads and print media reporters should be forever ridiculed, de-platformed and ignored.
As to your survey I have no idea which way Democrats go, I don't think they know at this point but I do think we are seeing the decline of the Democrat Party. They have no one else to blame but themselves.

When does MSNBC get sued like Fox? They seem to be ripe for the picking. They have knowingly defamed a lot of people.

None of the above.

I wish Dems would fade into oblivion.

As long as the administrative state is as large as it is, the dems will have a power base. We need a convention of the states and amendments that return this country to the decentralized small national government that the founders intended.

The pubs if they come to power will, as history shows, underperform out of fear to take bold steps. This is especially true of the culture wars. Underperformance leads to a loss of confidence with their voters. Then they lose. Next dems overreach, pissing off the country and they lose.

Rinse and repeat all of my life.

The exception. Once under Trump . Trump gave us 3 justices that lean originalist. This met the performance standard.

Only Trump's SCOTUS noms got us over the hump with Roe. Even then it was a small step and not a bold one (underperformance.) The bold and correct ruling is that life begins at conception per science and the definition of life. The unborn is human ( Genetics) and has the same rights as the rest of us. Rule that way and the politics of this is moot for at least a generation and probably forever.

Public licentiousness (i.e. LGBTQ+ "rights") undermines societies sense of right and wrong. This eventually undermines a society's ability to govern itself. Then you get rulers instead of public servants.

The following is as true today as when he said it 200+ years ago.

"Because We have no Government armed with Power capable of contending with human Passions unbridled by morality and Religion. Avarice, Ambition, Revenge or Gallantry, would break the strongest Cords of our Constitution as a Whale goes through a Net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." - President John Adams

The biggest problem with a convention of states is the amount of Democrats that would show up trying to get amendments favorable to socialism. You may very well destroy this country in the attempt rather than save it. It's a dangerous proposal and one filled with enough peril to unravel everything. Big gamble, little reward. I would not push for this until I wanted a completely new Constitution and I'm not even close to that.

Conservative State Legislatures are much more common than Leftist so personally am not that concerned about it.

Back to @DCandtheUTBand 's post.
SCOTUS by striking down Chevron Deference has essentially pushed the Legislative Branch and State's into a position where there is no more opportunity for them to avoid doing their jobs. The Executive Branch and Agencies that comprise Deep State/Uniparty have essentially lost their greatest tool for unlimited power expansion.

The flood gates are now open for anyone to sue the government when Agencies encroach upon Citizens' rights.

This will take a few years to work all the cases through the court, but we're definitely seeing the ATF and some State's attack on the Bill of Rights take legal beating.

Hopefully the 'pubs will follow through with some Legislation to help facilitate destruction of the Deep State, but as with @DCandtheUTBand I'm skeptical this will happen quickly.

Hiw many RINOs do you think will show up? It would look similar to the House and Senate right now. I wouldn't be that confident.

It's an "over time" showing up. With a 2nd Trump Administration, don't be surprised if he doesn't start forcing their hands.
The SCOTUS is finaly reining in the out of control buerocracy. No need to take chances until you have exhausted every other option. The tide is turning a convention could upset the current trajectory. If Trump isn't in the WH and you have another radical dem then go for it with nothing to lose.

A proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution as soon as it is ratified by three-fourths of the States (38 of 50 States.) Leftism doesn't sell on the macro level.

Certain "conservative" ideas are popular even in blue states i.e a Balanced budget and term limits. The leftist dreams of repealing the 2A are a non starter in red states. A CoS is hard but it would favor the right not the left.

In a convention the delegates the state will send will be a crucial part of the state agreeing or not. Hypotheticaly a conservative state like Oklahoma sends James Lanford. What would he agree to? Who gets to pick the delegates? I think you are closer to a convention of states than I want to admit, you may get one. We better hope every state sends delegates that know the pitfalls.

That being said, I would be more worried it would end up like the last convention. They threw out the first constitution and made our current version. That is when all H E double hockey sticks will take over. Anything would be on the table.

Marxism sells well at the local levels where people can get their grubby paws on free stuff, $20 minimum wage, government subsidized housing, or as we're seeing regulatory agencies "sticking it to the man".
What doesn't sell well is when all this little encroachments are written up together at a Constitutional Amendment level as in repealing chunks of the Bill of Rights. Everything the Leftists want, they can actually accomplish through Constitutional Amendment - either Convention of States or 2/3rds of House&Senate - but they can't since it takes multiple election cycles in the House (2 years), Governor-ships (4 years), and even Senate (staggered 6 years). This multi-election cycle process was by design to drive home seriousness of Amending the Constitution.

It's been painful, but when the Democrats stole the 2020 elections (Pres, Senate seats, likely House) I predicted they would go hog wild and prove to the public how bat-shit evile they are. It's been painful, but perhaps necessary for the broader population to really experience what this evile Authoritarianism tastes like. So here we are it seems...

The state conventions will vote on ratification and it still takes 3/4ths to pass

That doesn't move the needle for me. I would still be worried about the same things. My trust factor of people who want to take full control is nonexistent, and my trust that the balance to that won't capitulate at the drop of the hat is probably worse than that. Nothing I have seen would change that.

Convention of States is really really hard to pull off. Founding Fathers got a lot right by making changing the Constitution simple by difficult to do.

SCOTUS blowing up Chevron Deference is a massive blow to the Left's Administrative State lawfare through regulations and enforcements.

If you're following 2A court cases, the ATF's power to impose unlimited rules/regulations is getting gutted.

Those are reason not to go to a convention of state. It means that the system is still working, and that drastic measures are not needed. Some of the things that will push me to have the convention would be Biden packing the court, 2nd Amendment bypassed, or a Biden win with clear rigging. From what I am seeing it's time to pull back on the convention not forward. Work within the bounds of the Constitution.
