Unfortunately I watched the dream team classic match with keegan Moore and he got pinned by an Ohio guy in the first period. He got the takedown but gave up a reversal and then got ground and pinned. The only good news is Moore is a 84 and his opponent is probably a 97. He (his opponent) was very tall and good with his legs and funky. I do know these all star matches can't predict future greatness but I was hoping to see more from Moore. I don't know about our recruits coming in but time will tell. I know one forum person sarcastically commented about my lack of confidence in Anderson at this time. Smith sees something but Anderson would need lots of developing and jumping levels in the future to be an all American for us from the matches I have seen him wrestle. I still think we need some thing special to happen in Stillwater at HWT next year. With a top HWT and no big injuries we can wrestle with Penn St. next year.

Speaking of the classic, we are going to get real tired of seeing mr. Mark Hall at psu for 4 years....
Since you brought it up, don't want to sound like sour grapes since we didn't get Mark but his dad is a real work of art. I'm sure there was a lot of coaches out there that weighed how good Mark is and dealing with his dad. Cael will have his hands full.

I don't see Cael being much of a sissy. I'm sure his dad will know where the door is.

Hall looked amazing.

Moore didn't look good (I thought he looked slow and tired early, even before he got the takedown). Hopefully it was just a blip and he'll be fine. Over on HR they are listing off all the All-Star match results from past years where the guy who lost went on to have a better career (trying to make themselves feel better about Hall toasting Marinelli). Its a pretty solid list.

i remember an all star match where T.J. Jaworsky got pinned in about 30 seconds by ty moore...

To be fair to Moore he was wrestling up at 195 against the #3 guy in the country at that weight.

Moore is a HS 182 and could project to even 174 early in his college career.

I was surprised they didn't have him matchup with Reenan. He faced a 195 as well.
