This tournament opens Friday 12/18 at Hale Arena in Kansas City and there are 8 Oklahoma High school teams entered: Collinsville, Edmond North, Perry, Ponca City, Sand Springs, Southmoore, Stillwater and Tuttle. Total of 39 teams entered and they include powers like Allen,Tx, Archer and Collins Hill Georgia, Bettendorf, Iowa, Dowling Catholic,Park Hill, Mo. Daton Fix wrestles for Sand Springs of course. Top 25 ranked teams according to Flo include #8 Archer, #19 Neosho, #25 Sand Springs, #18 Tuttle.

Daton Fix had a first period fall in his first match. Beau Guffey from Tuttle was taken down four timesby his opponent and lost 8-5. Rhett Golowenski has two wins for Tuttle so far. Just a few of the matches I have seen.Jack Karstetter from Sand Springs also had a bonus point win.

Daton Fix major decisions State champion Nate Keim from Collinsville 13-5 at 138 pounds. He was seriously outsized by Keim but was just too quick and relentless.

Durbin, Garret of Tuttle at 160 is in the semis against Blankenship of Platt, Berryhill of Tuttle is in the semis against P. Bryan of Allen at 220 and Qualls of Coweta is in the semis at 285.

Fix has a 14-6 major decision in the finals at 138 with six takedowns. Noah McQuigg of Tuttle has a 3-0 decision to win in the finals.
