I will say that from my experience, Tulsa is a tough poker town. A break even player in Tulsa is a winning player is most other places. The talent pool in Tulsa is pretty deep compared to most places.
The fact that I'm willing to place 10k of my own money up in a freeze out format in any game you choose should say all that needs saying regarding my 'resume'. I just want it to be structured such that we reduce the variance. Something that should at least play 1000 hands or more at a minimum.

The thousands in winnings over the years in home games, online and casinos have gone to bills and supporting myself during college and stuff. I’d love to play more, but it isn’t feasible at the moment.

My last poker lesson. Part of being a winning poker player isn't just skill at the table. It is also about managing your life. There is poker broke and life broke. Don't let the two collide. If poker can truly provide you income, don't totally consume your bankroll to facilitate the rest of your life. Save some so that you can continue to play and keep up a revenue stream. Otherwise, guess what... you aren't a poker player if you aren't playing poker.
If I didn't love my current job so much and it pay so well, I'd be playing poker full time. As it is, I turn my winnings from my hobby to fund my other interests and hobbies.
If you can't manage a bank roll, don't have the funds to play, then you aren't a good poker player because you aren't playing poker. Everything else is just excuses and noise.
