It took a toll on those kids physically every day. In some cases they had to get up and leave home 2 hours before school and didn't get home until 2 hours later in the day. If they played sports it was worse. Imagine what your life would have been like losing 2-4 hours every day going to a school not in your neighborhood.

I like Biden. Always have. But he's too old, a bullshit artist, an old plagiarist, and has a little war hawk in him. He stood up to the Yugoslavian guy when the GOP was kissing his ass in the 90's, I thought that was cool. He has charisma and can laugh and cry and would run hard against Biff, though. He's made a lot of mistakes, but he stands for something every now and then.
I'm not inclined to vote for him right now, but if you guys hate him and say he's a racist and sexual predator he's probably a pretty good choice.

I guess I didn't hear it, so you're good. Trump had some housing discrimination issues in the 70s, but I just can't put that at the same level as a guy who was trying to pass racist federal legislation to appease racist white voters well after the 1964 Civil Rights Act became law.
