Interesting. I didn't know that a president can pardon someone for a crime they haven't yet been accused and convicted of. Is there precedent for this type of 'blanket' pardon? If nothing else, it feels like it sets up a scenario where Trump, prior to the end of his 2nd tenure, could resign, and Vance could blanket pardon him for any crimes he has or may have committed from 2014 to present thus permanently ending each and every one of the federal cases against him. (The resignation portion is based on the assumption that the president can't pardon himself, which might be an USSC determination).
Because the Dims were pushing the "Nobody is above the law" narrative with the Bogus Jan 6th Insurrection and all the other bogus charges they used to try to get rid of Trump with.
Also the left had said Trump would pardon any of his kids if they were convicted of anything. As the saying goes, when Dims accuse its because they are doing the same thing, that and they are the biggest bunch of hypocrites in the World.
All of that and Biden probably was telling the truth, the deal was Kvntmala would Pardon Hunter because Joe was forced out and it was part of the deal for Joe to step aside. One little problem with that though, the Bitch got her ass handed to her. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't have an issue with Joe pardoning his son for crimes he's been convicted of. A President can pardon anyone he wants to without question although there are always political issues. My problem with this pardon is it pardons Hunter of any crime he committed going back to 2014, the same time Hunter was on the Board of Burisma. To my knowledge Hunter hasn't been charged or convicted of anything to do with crimes highly suspected from that time. It will be telling if Joe pardons his brother.
I probably would do the same. He probably should have said " no comment" when asked about it the last year or so. But like all Dims, he will LIE to earn your vote. As well as steal taxpayer money, that is the real reason he pardoned Hunter.

I would totally say the same thing and who Biden does or does not pardon has no bearing on it. Every single J6 protestor who is still awaiting trial has had their Constitutional right to a speedy public trial violated. All should be pardoned and most would likely have strong grounds on which to sue the DOJ.
