He exemplified his faith in everything he did or tried. I did not agree with his politics. But to call him an abject failure is a stretch. The Camp David accord was huge. His efforts to bring peace to the table in foreign affairs should be noted. His life after the Presidency was remarkable. His love story with his wife should be a model for others. The world was a better place with him in it. RIP

I remember the 55 MPH speed limits and temperature controls in privately owned buildings. High interest rates. High inflation. The failed handling of the hostage debacle. Deep and widespread malaise felt across the country, lack of trust of American leadership worldwide. Giving away the Panama Canal. One of the worst American presidents in history.

Carter was the worst President in modern history until we allowed Democrats to steal an election and put pudding brains Biden in the White House. Record high inflation, gas shortages/rationing, the Department of Education and the world is still dealing with the cluster fvck he created with Iran. Carter was a terrible President but in my personal opinion he was a good man.
He became such an antisemite and hater of Israel, that he completely trashed the Jewish homeland in his memoirs. As a result, 20 Jewish staff members of the Carter Center resigned in protest.

Carter was clearly not part of the Cabal. He didn't get a note at Poppy Bush's Funeral like the rest of the Crooked Dims did.
IMO we just finished with a man, who outdistanced Jimmy Carter in consideration for worst President in American history. The recent pardons are beyond anything considered bad. Joe Biden is and will be poster boy for the worst leader this country ever had. Only Kamala would have sucked worse.
Which ever one has accepted that Jesus Christ is our (and their) savior. We are all sinners, including Carter and Trump, and completely unworthy of God's presence. But His love is such, that our faith is all that is required.
[P-Dan] should have absolutely adored this guy. He stated in 2015 that Hamas is trustworthy and a much better "peace partner" than Israel.
Never cared for Carter the President. But in your example if you look at the rate of death and destruction and torture, he probably has a point.
