Congratulations to Coach Taylor and to OSU’s fans. I see great things in OSU’s future.
Great to hear. I think we have two of the top four from that class and very excited as to what they can do for us.

I joke, but I think this kid takes the Dake route. 4titles at 4 weights, but does it without a loss.
Also, Merrill, Thompson and Hughes were in the top 10.
Yeah he needs to get like 2 out of the top 3 guys in a class or something. Idk
Hard to see where Thompson and Hughes fit in going forward, especially Hughes with Jax and Jamison
Willie hasn’t updates ‘26 in awhile I don’t think but K is probably rated around top 20 or so in that class… but the list I was referencing is the all classes p4p. Willie just does top 20 on that one.
The obvious answer is Forrest seeing as to how OSU got his brother. I will not hear any arguments to the contrary

I just want competitive team races again. It’s nice to see OSU pulling away recruits from PSU.
Yes, Thompson and Hughes are going to have to work hard to have a position in the starting lineup. Right now, Thompson would be our starting 184 next year. I think Jamison needs to move to 149 next year and so Hughes if that happens would likely be our 141. It could be that the coaching staff is seeing an unwillingness to work hard with Thompson and therefore are looking for a transfer 184 for next year. I hope he doesn't screw this up but I must admit after watching him I believe in the Hays tournament I was shocked how little effort or ability that he showed. Time will tell. I really want these 2 to succeed and as I indicated yesterday, I hope Sakamoto is what Coach Smith said he was.

PSU was after Dreshaun and Jax, OSU won the battle. In my opinion that’s pulling recruits from PSU.
That's a very superficial take. The majority of recruits that Cael pursues get away. That's the truth. Recruiting Jax and Ross doesn't mean you expect to get them. For example, Ross. Cael may love Ross, but if he has 4 heavies that he's targeting and a couple of them are equal to Ross, then it's probable that the offer to Ross may be less than if we had a hole in the lineup and Ross was the only available elite recruit. So you can't just say a name and make it true. Circumstances matter a lot.
Congrats! I honestly thought Iowa would get Jax and Okie would get Bo. For me it's much like the Spencer Lee/Nick Suriano's recruitment battle. A surprising one to the end!

I think you’re under estimating how both OSU and Iowa fans have felt when it comes to top recruits the past several years. Has felt inevitable. I’m not talking facts and rankings and who Cael didn’t get, but how we have felt. So to have the 3 top studs in one week commit and not one choose PSU feels like the door is opening a little (in terms of recruiting). That’s why he said they got away. It feels that way. And my feelings don’t care about your facts!
